The overall quality seems good, I just have a problem with the smell.I know smell is personal -but this one is a little too strong for me.Smells like raw tar or something like that I couldn't really tell. So I'm using it mainly when I know I'll stay home.A similar product with even stronger similar smell is Bulldog Original which people seem to love. I had to get rid of it, couldn't stand the smell. This product seems to moisturize adequately hence two stars. Unfortunately, I can't use it because of certain olfactory considerations. The first time I applied the lotion I didn't notice the smell immediately, but later I wondered why my hands smelled so bad. When my wife came home and hugged me, she asked me why I smelled like dead roaches. I personally have never placed my nose near cockroaches,dead or alive, so I'm not sure hers is an accurate description. I waited a few days and decided to re-apply, this time using the other tube I'd received. Again my wife commented on the "dead roach" smell and refused to be near me.

One year ago I was looking for a facial lotion for my husband at Whole Food, when an assistant came and advised me to buy this Zia product. She said that men loved it. I felt she was sincere, so I bought it. My husband did like it ( he uses it after shaving in the morning, says is not greasy and hydratates his skin for the rest of the day). I kept buying it at this store, but recently Whole Foods discontinued all Zia products. I searched it at Amazon and it was not a surprise that I found it at a much better price. Thanks, Whole Foods, not only for your recommendation, but for discontinuing it!

This is a great product. I usually buy it from the local "Whole Foods" store but they continue to be out of stock. I decided to buy it online. I love it because it leaves my face feeling fresh and clean. My face has cleared up tremendously by using Zia products for men. Try them all out. You will truly be satisfied with the results.Thank you ZIA for an amazing product.

I used to love this product, but I am very disappointed to see that the ingredients have changed and so has the smell. I don't know that I would describe it as a "dead roach smell", but I can see how someone else would describe it that way. The product that I loved so much before almost had no scent at all. I have yet to see how the new product feels on my face all day long, but give it two stars for the change in smell.

I've used the Zia facewash for a few years now and really like that product. I figured I'd give this one a try, and I'm glad that I did. I put it on right after getting out of the shower and it does a very good job at keeping my face and neck moisturized. Unlike the facewash, this Zia product is scented. It's a very mild and pleasant scent though, and I don't notice it after a few minutes.I will be buying this product again.

Excellent after shave lotion! I have contact dermatitis and post shaving my skin gets red and very irritated and itchy. This is easily the very best after shave lotion i have used. It soothes my skin and within 2 hrs the skin feels much better. No more fancy lotions for me. This product is easily the best I've used and intend to continue using it

Originally read some complaints about the scent?? I don't mind it. No skin issues or zits as with some face lotions.Been using it for maybe 2 years now and will continue. It's not cheap, but compared to what women pay for facial products, I guesswe men are getting off easy....
