Requires a great effort to set up and Gigaset "support" is useless
This has three stars because, eventually, no thanks to either Gigaset or its seller, I got it working and it seems at the moment to be working. The main proble is that, although the Gigaset UK websate says this is compatible with the Gigaset phones I bought and although the manual, with a print date of July 2015, ays that there is an app available on the UK Apple store for it. Gigaset's UK site support staff (in reality, I suspect, a foreign based call centre with limited English and less training) could not tell me how to set this up without the app, could not tell me when the app would be available or why it was not already available, well over 3 years after the manual said that it was. Upon the third email request for the information, was told that the app was available in France. Even then they did not give any advice as to how I could get it but a little work with Google made me realise it was possible. I therefore created, on my Mac in iTunes, a new Apple ID for France and downloaded the app from there. Surprisingly the app was in English although on the French site!! It is early days yet to say if this does what is meant to do but I did get one call on my mobile sent through to the DECT handsets and my mobile is connecting via Bluetooth when near the Dock. I do not understand why the software which runs the dock and allows transfer of calls cannot simply be incorporated in the base station for the Gigaset DECT phones, as Panasonic does with some of its phones. As I say I am waiting to see how this works in the longer term but the 3 star rating is on the assumption that although it will go on working anybody buying this for the UK will have to do what I did to get the app and endure less than competent, if any, "help" from Ggiaset and the supplier. The latter simply metaphorically threw its hands up in the air and said if Gigaset could not help, nor could they, although to be fair they did offer to accept a return and refund me - as they were bound to do anyway at that point..

Very poor
Came with European not UK plug, with black lead (when everything else is in white). There is supposed to be a mobile app to adjust settings but it does not exist. The Gigaset website gives no link to download the app.
