Fisher Price does it again with a cool line of ape toys.. They are fun.
This Primate is sound. Good toy. The plastic is very strong. One flaw is the balance of the toy. You must stand him in his straight up mode, if you arc him at a hunch of even slightly- he won't stand correctly. I mean, is that even a flaw or just a factor? I'm not sure anymore. But I really like the toy. He is much larger than the rest of the monkey beings brings to mind king kong much of the time. But he's not. This whopper of an ape has his own identity. Pick one up and play for yourself. He is awesome. When I was a boy I had the fisher price adventure set with knights and a dragon and an ogre... a castle and a pirate ship. Those showed me as a kid what good toys were. I don't want fisher price to fall off, maybe y'all release another ogre like toy. Recall he had really awesome effects, he was like reactive upon play or movement. And Non-Battery Powered. Just FUN powered. We need that again. This toy comes close, it's a fun monkey. Master monkey. Larger and more powerful than the rest.. If you already have the monkey fort play-set Grab This.. It's really fun. I allows you to add a big bad guy to your story or even a dauntless powerful ape leader..I love it because I'm an adult who still possesses an imagination. Sometimes you gotta play with the youngsters and set a tone for how cool toys are.. Which they are amazing.. Who is losing focus here?I also grabbed the set of 4 smaller monkeys.. They are gnarly. The one with the fist staff I made him the wise leader.. They take orders from the Prime - Ape.. ^ seen above.I have a dynamic story line going in my current play-space. I got my hands on some dinosaur toys & there is a fierce battle going on between the hairy - humanoids and the evil reptiles. Hairy Humanoids are civilized enough to believe in higher power & have sort of a chain of command going. While the dino race is just too small of brained and big of teeth to fathom...... Monkey Power!

So fun!
I freakin' LOVE this gorilla! I knew it would be amazing before I even ordered it because all of the other Imaginext creatures/monsters have been. They're basically the Willy Wonka of the toy world. There's no telling what they'll come up with next or how they'll pull it off. I just love these big guys they make! Another 5 star creation!
