They love taking each animal out of the mushroom house and identifying the animal. The mushrooms are color coordinated with their stem tops so they learn colors as well. The animals inside are numbered and the mushroom has the numbers in dots that are raised so we count the dots together to figure out what is the right house for that animal. My little one totally likes to play with the animals as finger puppets and take them into mushroom house, then asking others which animals was in the house..It is also great for learning colors and numbers. These toys are suitable for kids age 2-5!

I don't know why, but I thought these would be a little rubbery, but they are hard plastic. And the tops of the little containers/homes fall off with the slightest touch. That was a little disappointing for me, but it's still a cute and fun set.

This entertaining cute toy set is also a learning opportunity as the color and number matches will add to the exploration as my little grows.

As a prek teacher I love the multifunction and open ended play this provides while promoting learning. My only issue is that the yellow is not yellow at all! It is a dull tan/muted brown color.
