Japanese Incense - Shoyeido - Daigen-Koh / Great Horigin - 35 Incense Sticks

As I stated in one of my previous reviews, the japanese have a culture of heavy and spicy incense as well as the stuff everybody is used to. Quality is very good, however it may be not for everyone's taste. This one is quite deep and spicy. It can stand on it's own without combining it with a lighter one, although one stick might be too much. Used together with the sweet stuff the result is great.

As expected from Shoyeido, these are great quality and burn very nicely. I just don't personally like the smell. I'm not getting sandalwood and cinnamon from them - not sure what it is but it's too cloying and sickly for me. I'll go back to their Autumn Leaves scent which I know I love and would still try more from this brand. Just a personal taste thing.
