Having long hair that sheds like a cat, and having small pipes in my old apartment, I frequently have to unclog my bathroom sink drain. These work SO MUCH BETTER than the flatter ZipIt uncloggers, and they also don't fling as much of that black sink guck up when you pull them out of the drain, which is nice. No more cleaning the walls after unclogging the sink! The only thing is, come on, for a couple of pieces of plastic it costs this much? These should only be maybe a few dollars per pack. At least it's cheaper than calling a plumber, but still.

We bought the house, moved in, started renovations. You know, the normal routine. What we didn't anticipate was both bathroom sinks quickly becoming swamps. OK, fine, not swamps, stagnate puddles of frustration and disgust. Better?We tried pouring drain cleaners, we tried this and that. Finally I found these disgustingly effective things. Yes, disgusting. See, the previous owner decided that dental floss was an excellent thing to wash down the sink, and the other sink. And toilet paper. I don't even want to know that one.This product was simple to use, extremely effective, and blessedly disposable after the job was completed. I would buy this again and again but I don't rinse my dental floss down the drain. But if I did at least I'd know how to fix that problem!!

This product is ingenious. You just remove the sink plug and stick the grabber end down the drain, twirl it around a bit, then pull up the most disgusting and smelly mess you've ever seen. I knocked one star off because I had to make multiple passes with the wand to get the clog out. The issue is that I needed to clean off the first layer of gross stuff to get another load of gross stuff out and that is impossible because of the grabber won't let the mess go. I had to use two wands to get the nasty clog out so it's a good thing that this pack comes with more than one wand. Disposal is a breeze because you just throw it away.

The FlexiSnake Drain Weasel is INGENIOUS. You simply attach the plastic leader with the little Velcro end into the handle. Insert the weasel into your drain, give it a little twist and pull out the most humungous wad of hair and gunk. Seriously, it is that easy. Forget the chemical drain cleaners, just get the little weasel and within minutes your drain is clear. Be sure to be prepared with a bag and some paper towels to deal with the sloppy mess of goop that comes out of your drain. I used this in both my sink drain and my shower drain and it was easy to use on both. The shower was a little more difficult because I had to pull the wad of hair back through the 1/2" drain hole in the drain cover, but once I got it out, that was that. Best of all.... it's inexpensive.

This product removes my shower drain hair clogs from my daughters with long hair...I simply push the Drain Weasel in the drain put it in the crank and twist away...it attaches to the hair and pulls it right without using and nasty chemicals...this is my 2nd or 3rd purchase... I will again

Oh my gosh--this thing almost works too well, as in GROSS. We unclogged the tub in an historic home we purchased a few months ago and pulled out hair that Wasn't. Ours. LOTS of it. Ugh. I will say they are ONLY disposable; the instructions mention cleaning off the hooks (it's basically just the prickly side of Velcro) to reuse but yeah, good luck with that. It grabs and holds on like a fat girl to a drunk guy at last call. There's no using 'em twice. Buy a few refills and keep them around; you might need two for the first run at a badly clogged drain but they work like magic.

Best product of it's kind I have ever used! We tend to wash all the loose hairs down the bathroom sinks and then the inevitable happens, nasty clogged pipe!!! Just pop one of these bad boys on the very easy handle made for it and voila!!!!! Just push it down allowing it to freely bend as you cannot really break it and then use the handle by twisting it and you will get a non-chemical, safe and effective result. I end up using 2 of them and it is so worth it. No more calling a plumber or using toxic chemicals anymore for me. Just remove the wands from the handle and toss in the trash.

This is the greatest thing. My sink was clogged and I didn't want to deal with my landlady. So I bought this thing. I like to DIY. I like to have some knowledge about ... well, some stupid stuff.Anyway.I recently dyed my hair blue. So I used this thing and got some blue hair out. Drain was better, not great. For no specific reason, I tried this again after the water had been running for a while.Way more crap came up - including a clump of my brown hair. Clearly the source of the clog.In retrospect, this sounds pretty gross. But sometimes gross stuff is interesting. And less gross when it's your own gross stuff. Like brown instead of blue hair.I deducted a star because I couldn't use it with my bathtub.

Like many other reviewers, I bought this refill pack without actually owning the drain-weasel handle. It worked great.We are not connected to the sewer, but have a septic tank, which can easily stop working if confronted with the strong chemicals used to dissolve debris and unblock drains. This looked like quite a simple idea, and the ideal chemical-free solution. It was!Our shower was completely clogged up, just below the plughole, with hair, grease and shampoo deposits. I actually ended up using all three of the wands in one go, just to make sure it was completely clear. The stuff coming out was not a sight for the squeamish (otherwise I'd attach the photo I took!). Some people seem to be cleaning and re-using the wands. I didn't, I just bagged them and got them out of the house as quickly as possible! If it became a more regular operation I might consider it that approach, but I can't imagine it getting that bad again any time soon (I also purchased a hair filter for the plughole to try and prevent it:  OXO Good Grips Shower Stall Drain Protector ).I'll probably buy another pack to keep handy around the house for future blockages. De clogged bath plug hole, be careful as quite bendy but that's more that nature of what it has to do than quality. Certainly will buy again.

Worked immediately. Drain clear of hair in seconds.

Unfortunately I was unable to use these for the true purpose I had purchased them as they did not bend down my shower drainage opening but work well down sinks and baths plug holes.

these are brilliant.can only use each one once though but really great.couldnt live without.order regularly.
