This is the third converter that I purchased, the 2 previous were garbage and didn't work right, one turned the picture on the TV so dark and the other one was so slow when changing the channels it took seconds to show the channel. This one has not issues at all, the picture in the TV is clear and it turns the channels fast. I like it and it works like a charming

I needed this to hook my laptop to an older projector for displaying spreadsheet data. It took several times unplugging and plugging in connectors for the signal to correctly be output from the HDMI on the computer and into the device. At first I was just getting a black screen. When I did get it to work, the output quality is very low and despite attempts and focus adjustment, the text isn't crisp enough to be readable. Was hoping for a cheap solution, but in this case, you get what you pay for.

This thing is pretty awesome and gives me all sorts of nostalgia. Been using on a GameCube and n64 as of recent. My only recommendation is to turn you tv’s aspect ratio to 4:3 to avoid awful stretching when in 16:9

The unit heated up very hot.

The title makes it seem like this is compatible with Chromecast or Firestick but the fine print says that it doesn't work with those. What a scam
