Having had to remove 50% of my garden through plants being too infested and to cut down on the numbers of spider mite (15 years in this house , no sign till this year ) I was utterly heartbroken . I searched the internet for info, I sprayed with salt solution , water , pesticide and was pulling my hair out as no effect. What plants that were left I was determined to save . I brought Phytoseiulus and slow release bags which contain ambleus andersoni ? I had great pleasure placing the bags in loved plants and then placing the phyto along side when they arrived two weeks later , it was nice seeing them run around inside the tube before putting out knowing they were real and alive !!! Its now 5/6 weeks later , I have healthy new growth on ALL surviving plants (2 foot of growth on my kiwi issia ) I pop out with the magnifying glass every now and then to check up on the Phyto that's munching quite happily on the mites on my patio cherry's two leaves ( had mites 4 days after planting in garden ) a trail of empty egg cases and skeletal remains everywhere , fantastic. If you have children you will understand when i say spider mite is similar to headlice , and all parents know how hard it is to eradicate these ! In my opinion don't waste your time and money on liters of pesticide , just buy live predators , have patience and let them get to work. I WILL BE BUYING AGAIN EARLY NEXT SEASON !!!!!!! Do put string walkways between plants this works. Plants ive saved -- plum kiwi cherry redcurrant raspberry jostaberry honeyberry budlija fushia snapdragon , plants untouched by spidermite --- rose agapanthus pieris blueberry chive pelargonium pomegranite blue daisy asparagus canna cape fushia, plants removed or lost to spider mite --- 1 other kiwi 5 other budleija primrose aubretia crocosmia gladioli melon cucumber runner beans lemon verbena pepper artichoke delphinium black eyed susan , theres more but cant think of the names . Good luck to anyone who gets this pest in large quantities in your garden , i KNOW what im doing next year . Just a quick not as i've waffled on ,other natural predators are now appearing back in my garden , LONG MAY THEY THRIVE !!!!

Disappointed.
An unfortunate set of circumstances. The Red Spider Mite infection was bad and I have seen no halt or slowdown in their spread. I am of the opinion that perhaps I was too late in applying the Syngenta and the R.S.M. can now be seen on all parts of the plants. Perhaps their demise will come. I think it would be unfair of me to criticise in this case.

Would buy again
Came in a little pot in a envelope through the post raring to go. Could see then crawling inside when the pot was held up to the light. No sign of them a day after opening and the problem mites did seem to get worse for a week or so but a few weeks have gone past and there's no sign of spider mite on my plant so I think these friendly mites must have done their job.

Did not work at all on my cypress against red ...
Did not work at all on my cypress against red mite. Perhaps, it was the food for the red mite as it appears I have more red mite than before. Dont buy it.

The best greenhouse spider mite remover I've ever used.
Every year we get spider mite in the greenhouse. For years we tried every sort of spray from neem oil, through garlic and oil, into the expensive Miticides that I didn't like using on vegetables. As I'm sure similar suffers know, Sprays aren't very effective. These little saints are. These cleaned my greenhouse out a treat in about a week. Within two weeks, I'd pulled off all the visibly damaged leaves and there were no more forming. I can, however, see the predator mites* patrolling around the leaves of the Tomato plants like little sentries.I have to confess, I found a local company slightly cheaper, but this is still a decent price.*they're several times the size of the mites and visible to the naked eye quite easily.

Simply didn't work
I followed the instructions but a few weeks after application the mite infestation was far worse, with little webs in forks of the plants and all over the developing fruit, and heavy leaf loss on the worst affected plant. It sounds like a good idea but was quite expensive for no apparent effect. I will try oil based sprays next as I want an organic treatment.
