A title for your Personal Development
🗣️The books is designed accordingly for a comprehensive approach following the fundamentals of a comprehensive approach. Dividing in three sections it significantly describes the basics, the techniques and methods to improve the skills, and at last conclude everything with real time experiences.📌 I liked how it presents the fundamentals with the proper references with a crystal clear and staight forward approach, without wasting or elongating the subject.📌An interactive read with a crystal and straight forward approach. If you're someone who is interested in improving their public speaking skills or wish to advance your levels, then this might be a good fit for your bookshelf.

great one but could have been better!
Win Every Argument by Mehdi Hasan, the art of persuading, debating and public speaking is a book which has equal amount of real life examples as well as theory to back that up.The book also acts as a workbook for the readers. The author himself is a journalist and interviews a lot of people. He talks about majority of this depends on how we frame the things and our sentences while communicating.Debating, is an art which needs you to practice and good performance while putting forward an argument. The questioning the premise behind the notion is equally important.I found this book very useful as it would also help me in my daily life and corporate life. I highly recommend you all to check this book out and let me know how it goes for you all.

A masterclass on oratory
You can hear Medhi's voice throughout the pages in this book. In a simple yet thrilling manner, the author takes you on a walk through the land of oratory, backing up his claims with millennia-old best practices, contemporary gold, and best of all, enthralling personal anecdotes. The book is not a one-time read, though not because of its complexity, but because of its richness. I will be coming back to these chapters for years to come. I am sure of it.

Very useful for public speakers, researchers, and writers — and interesting!
"Win Every Argument" is very useful for debaters, interviewers, interviewees, speakers, writers, and researchers. I have been a public speaker for decades (in a religious setting and as a Mark Twain interpreter/impersonator), and a writer on-and-off throughout most of my life (both of which require researching). The tips and examples in this book, though, will take me to another level with both endeavors, especially public speaking. Mehdi Hasan's book is well worth the money, and more importantly the time it took to read and absorb it. I will use it as a reference to refresh my memory on the techniques and guidance it provides — it inhabits an honored position on my virtual (electronic) bookshelf.I only found one thing in the entire book that I take issue with, and am even willing to argue with Mr. Hasan about it. That is his statement at the 67% mark in the kindle version (I don't know what the page number in the dead-tree version would be) that of the four Ps in speaking (pitch, pace, power, and pausing), pitch is your tone of voice. Pitch is actually the "notes" you are using (varying from high to low). Tone of voice is not necessarily tied to pitch, but is an aural clue to how you feel about what you're saying / the matter under discussion. e.g., you can speak in a sarcastic tone of voice, which will be spoken at different pitches/notes depending on your natural speaking voice (typically higher pitch for women than men). Typically pitch goes up when the speaker is excited, but the tone may stay the same. Pitch is related to notes; tone of voice is more closely associated with a person's body English or facial expression. So pitch is only indirectly related to tone of voice.
