Not like the picture
The product did not mix or even look like the product packaging. I was really hoping this would be great because i miss eating eggs but I am a huge texture person and this was like rubbery and gummy. I tried even with salt, pepper, onion, garlic all of it. But i just could not even make it edible.

UGH - buy the other stuff
Not even close! Rubbery texture; does NOT scramble. Tastes strange. Jxxt Exx is costly but actually does what it claims and tastes great. Go there.

Verdict is still out
The media could not be loaded. Vegan of 6 years, so I’ve bought Just Egg and made my own tofu scrambled eggs but it never is that close to real eggs. Grew up eating fried eggs and crepes so I was really hoping this was the answer. As a caveat- i believe my recipe was off (not enough liquid) and I doubled the recipe. I’m going to make another attempt making crepes instead. My advice- follow the directions precisely and don’t pour too much in the pan. It needs to be runny and very thin to achieve the results. I seasoned it quite a bit because it tastes bland to me. Initial smell (from the black salt) is very egg-y, but once cooked, it was on the bland side. I threw it in a vegan burrito with hash browns, cheese and vegan sausage and you wouldn’t have even know this stuff was in it. I will update my review after the crepe attempt.

Best For Vegan Crepes
I got this to use when we can't get a hold of Just Egg in the store. Plus, Just Egg is not cheap. I didn't do the math, but you do get more 'eggs' out of this than you would with Just Egg. It cooks more like a pancake if you cook it too long. And while it smells like egg while wet, the flavor isn't quite there when cooked. I recommended adding black Indian salt; it's a pro tip seasoning for adding eggy flavor to things. However, I will say, if you wanted to make crepes? This would be perfect for eggless crepes. The texture is spot on. Also, this stuff cooks real easy; the ration is 1:1 for water to dry mix. And it doesn't tend to try and stick to pan like Just Egg does; cooks really quick too on medium heat.Is it perfect? No, but with some doctoring it'll be a good stand in for Just Egg.

Love or hate?
From other reviews that’s how it is. Have you ever used this type of product? Someone said it looks nothing like the picture on the package. Did you put vegetables in it? I’m sorry I haven’t taken a photo because mine looks very similar. It’s pea protein and not egg, I don’t expect it to taste just like egg. I use mushrooms, onions, peppers. Then as it cooks I add vegan Parmesan and flip it over in half. Let that cook a bit and top it with pico de gallo = delicious! I also add garlic, turmeric, and my newly discovered Sumac.Compare the ingredients with others of this type and this is the best. I’m very happy with this product and I am reordering the two pack this time.

DISGUSTING!!!!
They must have used real eggs on the picture in the front of the product... The egg substitute once cooked looked nothing like the photograph on the bag. It was absolutely disgusting. The texture, the flavor, all of it! Do yourself a big favor and find something else to try .. I'm so disappointed. I spent $15 on this little bag that is super disgusting and I cannot even return it.
