Terrible flicker, going back for refund..
These light are leaps and bounds better than the last set I returned from some other brand.. they have metal housing, plastic shield and come with an adapter bracket. The one complaint I have- the included screws are just too short. I couldn’t use them on any of the 6 I installed- all in standard round jbox through drywall. Lucky for me, I had the kind I needed in my toolbox. (See pics)The brightness is just right, not blinding- but much brighter than standard bulb they replaced. I installed 6 today, very easily. Some in closets, hallway and laundry room, etc. I’ll be buying another set of 6 at least. That being said- I cannot vouch for the longevity yet.Edit/update: after having these lights installed for two days- my wife complained about getting a headache while doing laundry.. so I googled it, sure enough- cheaply made LEDs are linked to causing headache in 20 min or less due to flickering. To test it, move something quickly back and forth- you’ll see a “tracer” effect. It is flicker from these leds. Sending them back for a refund. I’ll be buying my lights from FEIT(@Costco) . Never had one of those cause this flickering or headaches.

WAY..... easier than traditional can lights
I am remodeling a house right now and built my last home which had over 75 can lights in it. These are a great advancement over traditional can lights that are clunky, far more complicated to install, require you buy LED bulbs at added cost, etc. The 4" version literally screwed directly into my mud rings which are mounted on a simple standard junction box. (cost at Menards or Home Depot for both is about 3.00 bucks). At first I was going to use these in strategics locations in the house. When I ordered one and tried it, I order 24 6" and 30 4" to do the entire house in these.Warning though...... I found out the hard way that the screw pattern on the 4" is different than the 6" so if you put up all the same mud ring you will be very sorry after your drywall is up. I am currently looking for mud rings that work on the 6"

Mounted in a ceiling junction box, it looks just like a nice ceiling "can light"!
We purchased two of these lighting units to solve a problem remodeling a basement room for a home theater. We needed the ceiling lights to be flush with the ceiling so that nothing would be in the way of the projector beam. These units mount into an ordinary junction box, but when installed look like recessed can lights. This is a great idea -- the ability to take any ceiling junction box and give it the appearance of a ceiling can light, flush with the ceiling. This lighting unit produces just the right amount of light and has a reasonably warm color (it is about 3000k but it looks almost as warm as 2700k). It was easy to install, looks nice, and provided the desired solution. After seeing these units, we would never install traditional can lights anywhere else... we wpuld just use a junction box and one of these thin units which are much easier to install, and result in looking the same. It's a good product to know about!

Great look, very dimmable, incredible value
These lights are awesome. Great value and great range of dimmability. I also like the fact that the light is equal across the entire diffuser (no hot spots) and the 3000k is a nice color, bright without being at all blue. I personally think I prefer them over the 2700K, in my space they seemed a bit too soft/yellow. I'm finding most use is at about 85-90% (dimmed 10-15%). I would also recommend in combination with Feit brand dimmers (the decora style which has a horizontal slide dimmer below the switch and LED light level indicator on the left side. These are $25 for a pair here on Amazon) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Shown on both a 3/12 sloped ceiling and 8'flat ceiling at my cottage in the image included

Bright and fairly thin
These are meant to mount to an electrical box, but my under-cabinet setup was a bunch of extension cords behind paneling, spliced with wire nuts. Oh well, that way still works, and so I mounted these straight to wood. They get warm but hopefully not hot enough to start a fire. In any case, they replaced 20w halogen puck lights that got hotter. They are thick enough to stick out a bit from behind my cabinet valances (>1"), when viewed from below (ie from couch level), but they look alright.

LED Light
The product arrived as described. The fixture installed very easily where my existing LED light had been. These lights have a plastic body and no rubber gasket to prevent light leakage between the top of the fixture and the ceiling. I have this one installed in a walk-in closet. If I had it installed in a more prominent area I would be more disappointed in the light leakage.

Great lights!
These are great lights. I have many of these lights installed in my remodeled lower level (6 in a family room, 3 in a hallway, 2 in multiple closets, etc). I have been using most of these for well over a year and have had 0 issues. I have 6 running off of a TP Link Alexa enabled dimmer and they work perfectly. They only start to flutter at very low levels, but using the TPLink dimmer, I am able to set the lowest level so that they do not flutter. If you are looking for a great light that is reasonably priced, durable and bright, I would suggest these.

Sleek
These are awesome! Great alternative to recessed lights. Cheaper and easier to install. When they’re on, you can’t tell them apart from recessed lights. When they’re off, you can tell they aren’t quite as flush to the ceiling. After trying these, I’ll never spend the time or money on recessed lights again!

Okay light.
This light works well and puts out a good amount of lumens for the laundry closet that we were renovating. It fits flush to the ceiling and a handy mounting plate is also provided for varying sizes of junction boxes. However, the trim ring is made of very flimsy metal and is easily bent if dropped which could affect the appearance and how well it seats to the surface. The high price point does not reflect the quality of the product and it certainly is apparent when you take it out of the box.
