I’ve had this in its box for a while as I’ve been moving house, was put up yesterday and I loved it, tonight it’s not working!!! Not a happy bunny.

We live up in the mountains of Colorado. We live off the grid with solar and generator backup. We have a work shop a good distance from our cabin and it is not feasible to run wiring for electricity so we have another generator for lights and power tools. We sometimes work till dark and one instance it was totally dark. We don't use our four wheeler at night but this night it was our transportation home and neither me nor hubby could remember how to turn on the head lights of the four wheeler. We fumbled around pushing buttons till we finally got them on. This is the reason we bought this solar motion detection light. It works great. It's bright and comes on at a good distance with movement.

Purchased this light, and for a few weeks everything was great. The dim light would last all night long, and motion sensor properly detected motion and fired up the bright mode. But around a month after installing it, it died completely. No lights at all.CAVEAT EMPTOR (Buyer Beware)

I was specifically looking for a light for my backyard that was dim and powerful. I wanted to see if there were any other animals in the fenced in area (New Hampshire) without disturbing those animals or putting my dogs in thunderdome. I let the lights charge for two days before I mounted it (due to time) but a week later I'm still impressed. The dim mode is great, you can see but not be a nusiance to the surrounding areas. It's late spring now, I'll update in a year.

One of the best Solar or spotlight lamp I have seen in decade. Very powerful and bright .I charged & installed first day in full sunny day. Next day we had rain here in Houston. Amazingly lights glow back in the evening of rain & lasted till it become dawn. Light comes out after sunset and stays till dawn. For me it runs over 10+ hours with full glow. Once you go close to spotlight motion detects and it glows more powerful lights . I don't give so much feedback in Amazon but for this Solar light I just can't wait to praise. Again its very important to install facing sunlight if you get 6 to 7 hrs. light this will cover 48+ hrs. ( for next two to three days) Imagine how strong is battery backup after charging. You will never been disappointed if you will install facing towards Sun correctly. You can see in photo 2nd day( no recharge) rain drizzling but light glowing nicely in grass and on my windows in full pitch dark no backup light . Very strong and reliable battery backup no doubt.

The lights seem to work well. I live I a heavily wooded area and needed something very bright. These are quite bright at night in pitch black night. They are always on a dim setting. them get brighter with motion. Very easy to install and the two lights and sole pad position well. That bei g said the are not durable and are made of very cheap plastic. I broke one when I turned the light the wrong way or to far apparently. So if your looking for a quit but product look elsewhere. If you are looking for a bright inexpensive out door.lLight that works well in heavy wooded areas.this might be for you. I was certainly attracted to those things. Just be careful when adjusting the lights. They break quite easily

I bought 4 of these on the premise that these had two functions as described by the seller in the questions. With the broken english that is written by the seller which is misleading , it sounds like these turn on at night and stay on or can use them as a motion detector which dims after 60 secs. Im so damn dissapointed cause i could have bought the other ones that did just that has 2 functions. I feel like i was robbed of 152 dollars. For what its worth the lights are great for just motion detection.

This does not work anymore! We installed it and it worked OK for about 3 weeks. Now it does not work!!

I originally said this light was great. Its NOT. It worked a month and a half, just for the return window to close. Amazon did let me return it but i was charged a “restocking fee” aparently they were going to restock a broken light? I debated it with amazon and they were kind enough to refund the fee. I had expected that paying almost $40 for something i would get atleast a years use out of it but i guess not.

I ordered 2 of these, one for each corner of the front of the house. One set works fine, but the one pointing on the driveway does not hold a charge. Very disappointed, the one I needed to work is not working properly. It's barely been up for a month and not raining as much in Miami this time of year. It will hold a charge for about 3 hours stays dim and then goes bright and shuts off completly. It's very dark in the driveway and it's useless now.. giving 2 stars because one side is working fine..

Very bright when activated. Easy to position plus the solar panel moves easy. But...don't expect this to last all night. Ambient sun is not good enough for a long charge. Plus, it's always on dim, then goes bright with movement. Battery does not last. This unit need real good direct sun exposure. Moving it from the east side of our home to the southern part

This light is pretty decent overall, the motion detection is excellent, the brightness pretty good and installation is easy. HOWEVER, the rechargeable batteries only last about a year and then the light either stops working or works for a couple of hours, then quits. Ok, fine the directions say you can replace the lithium battery. Yeah, right. The battery is completely wired in so unless you have a soldering tool or really tiny crimp connections to repair the wires you'll need to cut to remove & replace the battery, you are s.o.l.

This light worked good at first, but it was useless within 1 month on dim mode. We kept it on dim mode. Around 7 or 8 pm, if someone walks by and triggers the motion sensor light, it drains the battery. It will not work for the rest of the night until it is charged again.

I absolutely love these solar lights as I don't have an outside front porch light and this was the perfect solution. The motion detector is amazing and goes off with the slightest movement but isn't so bright that it shines in the windows of my neighbor's house. I am thrilled that there are two so you can shine one at the front steps and one at the patio area in the front of the house. It' makes a perfect deterent for anyone up to no good. It is winter now and the sun isn't as bright or out as often so the lights do not shine through the night but they are great....no more fumbling for keys at the front door. I highly recommend them.

I purchased this light for my brother. He lives off the grid. He is using the solar motion sensor light to scare away the deer from his fruit trees, at least he is hoping it will work. He has installed it and has been very pleased with the amount of light that comes from it. He will probably purchase more in the future. He highly recommends.

They have a good product idea (easy to install, solar-powered, comes with all parts, etc.), but in use it is NOT what it says or should be. It's inconsistent, which is more aggravating than just not having a light at all. It switches on its own from ON to OFF, and I have to get the ladder out each time to switch it back. I'll have company over and they can't see because it doesn't go on. But then in a few hours it does. This product is a 'need' for my home as we don't have a light in our driveway so I'm totally bummed that it doesn't work as it states.
