I don't think this is a real issue, but it's something to be aware of if you have a sensitive nose.

It’s a good machine with the eggs peeling ALOT better than when I try to make boiled eggs. Just match the water level to the kind of cook you want your eggs to be and done, perfect boiled eggs. The only thing that I would have to ding about this product is what a lot of people are saying with the auto shut off. It would be nice if it alerts when it’s down but it doesn’t and you just have to go based on the auto shut off. There has been a few times that the shut off was one and then a few seconds later would turn back up without me realizing it. So that’s the only thing bad I would say about this product, other than that, it’s great way for easy peeled boiled eggs.

This is my first time having hard boiled egg steamer, and I am obsessed. The price was perfect, it is so small and compact and super easy to clean and it does an amazing job. I replaced my Cuisinart Egg Cooker with this less expensive version and really like this one better. Similar process, but works even better. Easier clean up and actually faster. I’m glad I took a chance!
