Nice 10key, decent construction, meh key switches.
ok several things up front, the basic switches that come with these 10keys are functional but nothing to write home about. The construction of this 10key is nice, but the sound is unremarkable and I wanted thok thok thok. The key caps are also not spectacular and I will wear the numbers off them eventually but for now, they're perfectly functional. I do feel this 10key is a tad expensive when you compare it to the keyboard. However, the first thing I did was pull it apart and strip out the brown switches that this came with, I removed the bottom silicon insert and replaced it with a different insulation that killed all resonance in the housing. I also used painters tape on the back of the pcb. After reassembling it, I replaced the switches with some nice linears from another keyboard that I got that I like better and while not 100% improvement, now at least my 10key thoks even if it's not as much as they keyboard I'm typing this review on, it's a massive improvement. For the money, you get a functional red/brown/blue switch, a hot swap chassis, and very legible if not basic single shot I assume ABS keycaps but they look nice and they work. This is a decent value. The fact that you can upgrade the crap out of it, bonus! I expect this will last me a long while, size is perfect without being too big.

The keypad works well and the keycaps are nicer than most
The keypad works well and the actual keycaps are nicer than most. The texture of the keycaps is nice, better than the sort of keycaps that come bundled on the keyboards supplied with most computers, and their quality is also good. The backlight works well, and is adjustable as the instructions describe, although I did need a magnifying glass to read the itty bitty image in the instruction sheet that illustrated which keys control which function of the lighting. I replaced the actual number keys with a set that I already had on hand for 1) the charcoal color that matches my main keyboard and 2) my keys allow the backlight to shine through the actual numbers which is nice. The feel is very very slightly less crisp than a name brand brown switch but still very nice. The keypad was instantly recognized by my Windows 11 computer, as it should be. The small size is nice, I can easily slide it out of the way when not needed. The attached photo shows the keypad after I had swapped in my keys that allow the backlight to shine through the actual numbers. The number keys in the photo are not the supplied keys. I would definitely buy this again if I needed another keypad.

Great Number Pad for the Price.
Great number pad, comfortable, solid built, a perfect companion to my Kenesis split keyboard. The different backlighting settings are great, I settled on the one that illuminates and slowly fades each key pressed.

Works great, get your own switches.
Comes with brown tactile switches that are just BARELY tactile at all. I initially thought they were linear, but I'm used to clicky switches. I swapped them out. Pulling the switches out with a switch puller was very difficult, several of the plastic switch housings broke while pulling them out - it requires a lot of force to remove them, so much so that I was concerned they had been soldered in. BUT, persevere, and they WILL come out. I replaced with Kailh Box Pink switches (my preferred clicky), and they went in much easier than the old switches were to take out. Also, I don't much care for the backlighting, but it works. You can turn it off or dim it by repeatedly clicking Fn + Enter.

Great numpad
This product works exceptionally well and has been a great addition to my setup. I’m a big fan of TKL (tenkeyless) keyboards because they save space and have a sleek, minimalist design, but I often find myself missing the convenience of a numpad when I’m working on tasks that require a lot of math or coding. That’s where this product really shines—it gives me the best of both worlds! With this standalone numpad, I can keep my TKL keyboard for everyday use while still having the option to quickly switch to using the numpad when I need it. It’s easy to set up and use, and it feels solid and responsive, making it a seamless addition to my workspace. It’s a perfect solution for anyone who loves TKL keyboards but doesn’t want to sacrifice functionality for those moments when a numpad becomes essential. Highly recommended for the flexibility and convenience it offers!

I just wasn't sure about brown switches..
..until I tried them on this number pad. Honestly it was a really cheap choice to test them out on this number pad before actually committing to them on a full keyboard. But omg am I happpy I did.I originally purchased this to help fix Windows Systems affected by the CrowdStrike situation by entering in the BitLocker decryption codes. At least until we also figured out the barcode scanner trick. But during that day long nightmare where we had to remediate about 9500 systems across the County, this thing worked like a champ typing up hundreds of thousands of numbers and connect and disconnects amongst hundreds of laptops that I touched. It got banged up a bit but still looks no worse for wear.If that's not a solid endorsement of this product, I really don't know what is.These brown switches keys are just fantastic. Weightwise it's just right. There's even a solid support flap on the bottom to angle it more towards you if that's what you want. They're definitely quiet and nice to use. Honestly, while I love 108 key keyboards, this might make me want to use a 75% and a secondary numberpad offset from my keyboard so I can get my mouse much closer. There's not much else I can say about this. It's comfortable and far better than using a cheap $5.99 Kadaon scissor key setup. As with current switch tech and HID Keyboard electronics, the implementation works great since you don't need a 100% depression to engage the contacts. If you get one, I think you'll be happy too!

impressive feel and build quality for the price.
I run a 60% keyboard daily but sometimes miss a 10 key. This is a fantastic option for when I need it. The better part, is it can go in the drawer when I don't. I wish there were more backlight colors than just white. I am happy with the 10 key. The switches match my keyboard and it feels like the exact same keyboard all the way through after I switched the keycaps.
