Feb 9th 2025: My dog is a 16 y/o cockapoo who is not a candidate for sedation. My vet recommended I try this product when I expressed concern regarding her plaque buildups and terrible breath.I did not take a before photo (started treating in early January), but the first photo is before I used tweezers to scrape her molars and the plaque popped right off today. I did this on multiple teeth, what’s in my hand is what came off. I want to believe the product softened the plaques enough so I could do this.I will use this product until her teeth are fully clean and update later. Her breath is still bad.

THIS ITEM REALLY WORKS , DOGS HATE IT , BUT WORKS VERY WELL

I have a 12 year old Chihuahua with very bad teeth, by bad, I mean the back of her teeth are caked in plaque and her gums are red and her breath is very bad. She is starting to get health problems because of it and using antibiotics only helped for a few weeks till the infection came back. Surgery will be hundreds of dollars and with her age and health; she might not even survive it. So I had two choices, find something to clean her teeth or have euthanasia done on her.I looked around for something I can use on her and found this product and after looking at this and a lot of other products, it was actually the cheapest stuff that worked, there was a lot more expensive stuff that worked and a lot of cheep stuff that either didn't work or harmed dogs. (Never buy anything with grape or grape seeds, its poisonous to dogs! There were some products for dog teeth with grape seed in it, it should be pulled from the market!!!) With that said, this product was very safe and it didn't have a taste to it, yes, I tasted it before I gave it to my girl. She hates the spray in her mouth so I tried the syringe thing, but putting that in her mouth hurt her so I just stuck with the spray, though she hates it, it does her no harm.There was a great improvement to her teeth, though not for her breath yet. I am seeing more white and less grown plaque. I have been using it for about a month now, and I am still using it. I love this product but I am not sure I can afford to buy it again, but I will if I get the extra cash for it.The down fall of this product, besides the price, is that you can't let your dog eat or drink for half an hour before you use this and half an hour after you use this. No food or water! I understand this but all my dogs are free-fed and fresh water is put out daily and is always there, when I took both food and water away, no one was happy with me (0h, I have 16 dogs that are rescues.) Besides the no food or water and the price, it is a great product and I recommend it to everybody who uses it.

I just had a professional dental cleaning performed on all four of my little sewer-mouthed Chihuahuas ... to the tune of 1,212 dollars!! *FAINTS* This stuff had better work or I will be broke as a joke and all my dogs will be toothless. Hopefully it will, since now I do have the benefit of starting off with a clean slate of freshly scaled teeth. It has been easy enough to administer, one good spray on the floor of their mouths doesn't seem to freak `em out too much.I will post an update after a few months of use. 3 star rating for now until I see some RESULTS.Update 06-MAR-2015 - Just ordered a second bottle. Everyone's breath has stayed fresh smelling except one dog. I think it's a combination of his age (he's 11), individual body chemistry and the fact that he has never been much of a water drinker his entire life. I feel like this product has helped MAINTAIN a cleaner mouth following full professional dental cleaning. I have serious, serious doubts that this product could have removed the amount of plaque up my dogs had built up of the years completely on its’ own … but I can’t really judge given the way I chose to use the product. If you order this switch to spraying the product into the cap from the bottle and then administer on to your dog's tongue with a dropper or syringe. While my dogs did not mind the spraying action itself, there were more than a few occasional misfires ... into the air, fur or ... oops, too close to an eye. In the long run, the dropper/syringe method results in much less wasted product!
