I have a 12 year old Chihuahua with very bad teeth, by bad, I mean the back of her teeth are caked in plaque and her gums are red and her breath is very bad. She is starting to get health problems because of it and using antibiotics only helped for a few weeks till the infection came back. Surgery will be hundreds of dollars and with her age and health; she might not even survive it. So I had two choices, find something to clean her teeth or have euthanasia done on her.I looked around for something I can use on her and found this product and after looking at this and a lot of other products, it was actually the cheapest stuff that worked, there was a lot more expensive stuff that worked and a lot of cheep stuff that either didn't work or harmed dogs. (Never buy anything with grape or grape seeds, its poisonous to dogs! There were some products for dog teeth with grape seed in it, it should be pulled from the market!!!) With that said, this product was very safe and it didn't have a taste to it, yes, I tasted it before I gave it to my girl. She hates the spray in her mouth so I tried the syringe thing, but putting that in her mouth hurt her so I just stuck with the spray, though she hates it, it does her no harm.There was a great improvement to her teeth, though not for her breath yet. I am seeing more white and less grown plaque. I have been using it for about a month now, and I am still using it. I love this product but I am not sure I can afford to buy it again, but I will if I get the extra cash for it.The down fall of this product, besides the price, is that you can't let your dog eat or drink for half an hour before you use this and half an hour after you use this. No food or water! I understand this but all my dogs are free-fed and fresh water is put out daily and is always there, when I took both food and water away, no one was happy with me (0h, I have 16 dogs that are rescues.) Besides the no food or water and the price, it is a great product and I recommend it to everybody who uses it.

It may be too early to tell, but it appears that tartar on my 1 year old Havanese is softening and disappearing. I use the spray on her once a day. She has a retained baby canine alongside the adult canine and it's a trap for tartar and food. The tartar is lessening and can be pushed off easily.i noticed an irregular heartbeat this week, and discontinued use. Google says dog heartbeats are not the same as humans, and probably not to worry. I'm just going to hold off for awhile and see if anything changes.She doesn't like the spray in her mouth but it's not distasteful (I tried it on myself). I think the "spray" action is what she doesn't like. However, she is very compliant when I administer it so I'll keep on doing what I'm doing when I resume treatment.

I can honestly say this spray saves my dog from pain and me from getting broke at the vet's.I have a 10+ yo Chihuahua, this breed is infamous to be prone to all sort of dental problems and consequently heart disease.We all know how much dogs hate having their teeth brushed, and so do we.I haven't always been a good mommy and didn't take care of his teeth on the regular basis and it showed up as plaque, loose teeth, constantly inflamed gums and I discovered he has developed a heart disease :( All vets had to offer was antibiotics every month, which is not healthy and works only for about 2 weeks and then everything starts all over again.I've been using Leeba for about two months now.At first started with one spray a day, now 3-4 times a week. What a difference! There's no more inflammation, no more swollen face and pain! Gums are pink! Plaque has come off partially and I do scrape it off few times a week and it became very easy to remove. No more vets for dental issues.It is expensive but it lasts and is so worth the investment. I highly recommend this product along with gentle teeth cleaning.
