My pan in question Ivan omelette pan. The coating is stated to be granite (stone) based and I see no reason to doubt it. You have to be careful not to apply too much heat when it is cold and not to drop it into cold water when it is hot. It fries beautifully and nothing sticks to it. It is very easy to clean. It is simply an excellent little pan.
