SeeSeeSee Arachnophobia Durable Aluminum Metal Case for Iphone 5 (Blue)

This case was a great cheap investment for protecting my phone. The company introduced new strategically placed cutouts to help increase radio wave efficiency, so it it works fine and is very stylish at the same time. The blue is very bright and doesn't rub off, or scratch easily. Overall I love the rugged feel of it and it feels very balanced in my hand. This was a great buy, and I would recommend it to anyone. Also, it includes little gel pads that stick to the case to act as a bumper so the phone doesn't get scratched when dropped.

i love this thing! its made of metal its looks really tough but i lose all my cell reception and also lose my wifi from my room which i normally have connection to my wifi. second thing wrong with this case is when you take pictures with the flash on, the color of the case gets reflected by the flash and your picture comes out the color of the case. third you cant plug your head phones in because the case doesnt give enough room for the jack. i love this case please re-design it to fix the issues

It's really a nice case I loved it I would have given it 5 stars except that it wouldn't let me connect to any wifi and my service wasn't as good!

This product is tough, but intrusive. I like the metal design, but it is uncomfortable, cant interfere with cell reception. It is also a pain getting your phone in and out. It comes with a hex wrench for the screws and you have to bolt your device in the case, then when you want to switch cases you have to take out all the screws and so forth. It is not comfortable in the pocket and not really that protective. It is entirely metal so when you drop it, yes it will protect it from the ground, but it doesn't protect it from the metal case itself in which your phone is inside. Hey, at least you don't have to worry about all that dust and dirt buildup inside like other cases. This seems like a good case design at first, but not well implemented. I would not recommend it.

So far I haven't notice any lost of reception, and I believe if you use the little "bumpers" that come with the cover, it should prevent losing reception.It certainly gets lots of attention, for the color (blue in my case) and design, I don't about damage to the case if you drop it, but I think the phone should be well protected, the best looking case I've ever had!

I was really looking forward to this case however, due to it's metal durability, the signal goes in and out all the time, there is no consistency and it makes the Iphone 5 itself unreliable which it is not. Ordered another case and will be throwing this one away, good it's only $6.00 but, they need to streamline the product to make it more functional for this specific phone. Again, great looks!!!

I'm not sure why there are so much complain about this case. I just get this case (14 February 2014) and it is good. the case fits well on my iPhone 5. Cell reception is good and does not effect. Only the screw to tighten between the two part is a bit bad but luckily i got the extra 2 screw. I dont know if this is because the quality improve by time but i think they do well on this now. I took a risk to buy this as well because at first i read all the review. i think when you buy this item, a bit of luck is involved. good luck!

Steer clear, or don't - but see for yourself. Put this on, and watch your LTE signal get destroyed, and your WiFi cut in half. I learned my lesson, and you will too. An aluminum case like this is cool, but in retrospect, not a good idea. Stick with ones that don't degrade signal.
