XBOX 360 Skylanders Swap Force (Game Only)

I'm reviewing this game through the lens of a chold , not an adult. It's challenging enough for a 6 year old that is just starting to learn how to play video games. It's fun. The skylanders themselves are cool, and so is the game. There is a lot going on in regard to color and movement so it's hard to get bored. The story is easy to follow for children and the characters have some depth. Have it on both 360 and Xbox one.

This is exactly what I needed as my son broke his copy of Skylanders Swap-Force that came in the big pack, I'm glad just the disk was offered for sale so I didn't have to go through buying another portal. This may also be a cheaper alternative if the portal works from other Skylander games. That I'm not sure of. The game itself is fun for kids, although the puzzles can be a little complicated. My 7 year old can tackle most of the game with no problem, and it seems to keep him entertained, which is the point.

So much fun for my 4 year old!.. teaches the basics of most 360 games and is lots of fun

Let's just say I'm "the best mommy in the world!" As with all video and computer games, my husband and I limit the amount of time my 6 year old can play them. We definitely have to put a limit on his playing the Skylanders Swap Force game. He can't get enough of it! I would definitely recommended it, but be prepared to buy the Skylanders Swap Force figures to go with it. Your child need certain ones to get to the next level.

I was so happy to be able to order the game only. The local stores would only sell the entire game console. The game was in great condition. I was very pleased.

**Item description should be updated, the new portal is required for this game!!!**Bought game for my son for Christmas. He opened it and was in love! He really wanted this game and we bought extra figures. Too bad that it wasn't stated that you can't play this game without the new portal. The other Skylanders and swappable with the same portal. If I would've known that you had to have the starter pack, I wouldn't have wasted $50 on this game, especially when the starter pack is only $60! What a waste of my time and money!!

Love that I was able to find a game only disc. It saved me mega bucks when my kids lost their disc and only needed it replaced not the whole portal pack.

Game had scratches on it and wasn't able to play at all. They accepted the return immediately.
