birthday candles - 7" sparkler candle - number 1 - 1 pk

I ordered this item as part of a cake display for a customer. The item arrived well packaged but there was a manufacturing blemish on the number '1' which made it look slightly misshapen and 'blobby' - a blob of silver coating landing on the item during production I suspect. This was annoying as I didn't have time to return it and wait for a replacement. The packer at amazon should really have checked the item, noticed it was not perfect and discarded it. It was annoying that the suppliers and amazon's quality control was not at its peak on this occasion. I have bought other number sparklers from this suppler and they have been perfect.

I am a firm believer that regardless of our age, we all love a birthday cake!! This was purchased for my godsons first birthday.Once lit, it looks fabulous and lasted for approx. 10-15 seconds. The candle looks brilliant as a decorative item too if you have the cake on display. The pictures were fantastic and his little face was mesmerised!I would recommend that this candle is lit in a well ventilated room as it does give off a strong aroma once extinguished. I found that I had to take little ones out until the room was aired.Definitely worth having to celebrate your loved ones birthday!! :)

Sadly this was delivered too late for my daughter's birthday - even though I ordered it two weeks in advance, so it remains in its wrap. Fortunately I have another daughter so I will use it for her when the time comes. My advice would be to order early to avoid disappointment.

As a cheap little extra for my neices first birthday but when you read the box it says not suitable indoors or for cakes. Therefore I put it away and didn't use it for her but might buy a six for my other sisters sixteenth and maybe as adult party would surfice as a cake sparklier.Cant complain to much at this price tho.

Looked good but didn't last long enough to sing "Happy Birthday". Different i suppose
