The Vocabulary Playbook: Learning Words That Matter, K-12

I was quite disappointed that this book says K-12 on the cover. I found very little information applicable for the early elementary. The book is well written, informative and easy to read but I didn’t walk away with any strategies for my grade 1 classroom. It is perfect for upper grades.

This is the best book on vocabulary I’ve read. Easy for those that have started on SOR journey, but ver digestible for those that aren’t there yet. A mix of great practical advice that is research aligned.
