Very effective and comfortable
I play guitar and I purchased these to use at big band rehearsals. I have been playing in big bands since the 70's and I have always worn noise reduction at rehearsals. These are by far the best I have ever purchased. Firstly they fit thanks to the supple material from which they are made and their shape. They are easy to fit into the ear canal and to removed. They are comfortable to wear for the evening's work and, importantly, stay in place. Other types come nowhere near the effectiveness of these in terms of damping down the drums and snares and the horn section, yet still allow you to hear clearly how the parts are playing. The frequency range is worth considering depending on the type of music played and this make has a very good standard from which you can select. I am so impressed with the professional service given in relation to getting them to me in the present postal condition. I would highly recommending these for band playing.

Excellent musicians ear plugs!
I've just used these for two full days rehearsing with a loud rock band. These ear plugs are just great, I had no ringing ears afterwards!! Also, unlike my previous earplugs, I didn't have to remove one so I could hear people talking, the sound is pretty clear too so I don't feel like my ears are stuffed up! Once they are in the ears correctly I find them very comfortable - I did look at the videos on the Earasers website, as in the video I find I have to open my jaw and pull the ear up at the back to get the plugs seated properly. Once you can hear your own voice in your head you're good to go. I sometimes use Doc's vented Pro Plugs if I want to take the edge off the sound (Earasers and Doc's medium both fit me), but the Earasers attenuate the sound more whilst still keeping clarity. I'm impressed!

Comfortable, effective and the only earplugs which have ever fitted my ears!
I am a drummer in several bands, a couple of which are very loud. To protect my hearing, I bought the medium sized Earasers (the only size available at the time) but unfortunately they were too large for my ear canals. I wrote to the company and had a swift response - they sent me out some smaller "sleeves" to see if they could improve the fit - and they did! Over the years have had several attempts at finding suitable earplugs, and the Earasers are the ONLY ONES which have ever fitted properly! They reduce the noise of my drums and the band to manageable levels - and I am so grateful. Thank you to Mark and the Earaser Team.

Brilliant earplugs
These are fantastic ear plugs that I use every time I go out raving. Unlike solid ear plugs, they don't make my head feel like I've got blocked sinuses. Only slight complaint is that I sometimes manage to pull the middle pin out and I worry I'll lose one of them. If I do, I will be getting more of these again though. Also getting some for my brother, and have a bunch of rave mates who're also taken with them. Nicely clarity of sound.

Not bad. Definitely better than most cheaper ear plugs
Not bad. Definitely better than most cheaper ear plugs. Maybe not quite enough dB reduction though, but it's hard to tell because they turn the whole spectrum down fairly equally.

These are perfect - obviously they don't provide the same protection as ...
A little different to most of the reviewers, I demonstrate blacksmithing techniques and reproduce period ironwork in a 17th century living history village. I needed something that would help provide some protection from the hammering but to allow me to be able to hear questions from the public as I'm working. Also as I'm dressed in 17th century clothing, I also needed something small and discreet so that the public don't notice during open days or when I'm running 17th century forge experience days or during filming otherwise it kinda ruins the effect. I shopped around quite a bit, tried various types and finally bit the bullet and paid the extra for these. These are perfect - obviously they don't provide the same protection as full ear protection, but they are perfect for offering some protection from hammering on different parts of the anvil. They fit very comfortably and are very discreet. There is a slight muffling but I can hear quite clearly when someone speaks. Totally recommend them !

False advertising: only reduces 1.2-5dB, insufficient noise protection, uncomfortable
TLDR: while they are discreet, there is near zero noise protection, and I am using 40GBP EarPeace Pro 24dB instead (directly from manufacturer as Amazon only sells up to 20dB). Please refer to BlogLocation for a detailed review on these and 10+ different ear plugs. PROs - The least visible ear plugs currently on the market CONs - False advertising: only provides 1.2dB at 500Hz and 5dB at 8000Hz noise protection and thus only useful for areas that are max. 85dB like like a restaurant, but insufficient for bars (~95dB) and sports events (~105dB) - Uncomfortable and less effective compared to AirPods Pro G1/G2 - High frequency noise somewhat echoes inside the plug due to its bell shaped design - 43GBP is very poor value for money - Only 1 set in either size S or size M - If you lose 1 peace, you need to buy another set - Cloudy storage container too large for your pockets - Turns yellow quickly

Great general noise reduction and residual clarity... Comfortable to use without muffling that so many plugs have!

They sound like they don't filter enough noise, but it's claimed that it's because they filter select frequencies. Love them for the comfort and clarity of sound.
