North American models (Cadillac, Plymouth etc ), or obscurer makes such as Star and Rockne as well.As with the series on A-Z cars 1945-70. 1970s. 80s; there is a black & white photo included of every model available in the UK during the period covered, as well as years built; engine sizes, production figures, different body styles available (which there were many back in the 30s); in addition to a brief description of each model that is listed in the book; which covers an era that saw a sharp rise in car ownership; thus necessitating the need for by-passes around our major towns and cities; as well as the introduction of the driving test; a highway code, and the 30 mph speed limit in built up areas which still survives today. If you are a vintage/pre-war car enthusiast, and if you're also wanting to know more about the facts & figures side of things, then this book may be just what you are looking for.
