Much quieter than a stock AMD cooler but it took some work to install it.
I like this product. Here's my day 1 experience...First you need to be ok with potentially removing the mother board, clearing thermal paste and reapplying thermal paste. If that is too much for you then find another solution! My stock AMD fan was driving me CRAZY! It was so loud that I didn't want to use the system for more time than necessary. I was not sure which fan was making all the noise but with a tooth pick narrowed it to the CPU fan.At that point I looked for a solution and here's my experience:Good:+ Price to me was fair and Amazon arrived the same day!+ Very Quiet (compared to my stock fan)+ Keeping my cpu between 38 - 60C+ Comes with thermal paste!+ fits Intel/AMD (mine is AMD)+ able to add a second fan but not included+ directions with basic stepsNot as good:- Installation took me about 90 minutes (I don't do this daily... so I am a bit slow)- If you're reapplying thermal paste you need 99% alcohol to clean the old paste (not included)- Installation required removing my system board- not a huge deal but takes time (case didn't allow access to under the system board) So this could be because I have an older case. Be ready.- If you have a small case it may not fit... check the case size, it's tall. Mine is full size Lian-Li and fit nicely.- second fan not included but can be added.- second fan may be tight against the memory on your system board.- split cable to power the first fan and add a second fan made my cpu fan speed unreadable. I added it so that the cable would be there for a future second fan.All in all, I like this solution. It's very quiet, inexpensive and working nicely.Happy Computing!

A reliable cool CPU Cooler.
I have used this family in many desktops over the years. The CPU packages may vary, but this CPU cooler always works well and is adaptable. In this case I used it for a LGA1700 CPU. It is important to keep the CPU cool to insure no overheating even under gaming loads. These CPU coolers usually keep the CPU at 20C (84F). A low temperature makes the CPU operate for long life and avoids CPU slowdown or shutdown under extreme loading. Most of my CPU's have operated reliable for 10-15 years without issues and are still running cool. The design performance rivals most competitors. Easy to install and will support one or two cooling fans if desired. I highly recommend this brand and will continue to use in future designs. Stay Cool and be happy.

Great CPU Heatsink/Fan!
Excellent product for the $30 price! It reduced my max temps from right around 100 C to about 75 C. Idling temps dropped by about 10 C. I had been using the stock AMD fan/heatsink. This fan/heatsink is big though, so make sure it will fit in your case. It comes with both parts for Intel or AMD processors. Fairly easy install, though the mounting brackets for holding on the fan to the heatsink are a bit frustrating. Comes with thermal paste as well.

Very pleased.
I was concerned about this heat pipe CPU cooler from Cooler Master due to it's size. I wanted to upgrade my AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU to a Ryzen 7 5700X and wanted something other than the stock AMD cooler and this looked promising IF it fit. It did and easily cleared the memory chips on my ASUS B450M-A motherboard. I've used heat pipe coolers in past builds and I know how big they can be, but Cooler Master's Hyper 212 Black CPU cooler is actually thin and sleek and just the right height for my case. CPU idle temps are 5°C cooler with the Ryzen 7. The first picture shows the original AMD cooler I replaced. It's quite a nice change now with the Cooler Master.

Cools well, good pricepoint
Really easy to install (even if you're a beginner with tinkering with your PC). Just find a good video and make sure you have a backplate if your socket is AM4 (does NOT come with an am4 backplate, it uses what comes with your motherboard. If for some reason you don't have one you will have to buy one).Fan clips are really, really annoying. And they feel cheap. But they do the job fine.Cools quite well! I replaced my old failed nzxt krakenM22 AIO. Fans are very quiet, perfect if you dont have a top of the line CPU. My temps dropped 40-50c (my old cooler wasnt doing its job). Comes with its own paste in box which works well enough. It comes compatible with AM4 and AM5 sockets out of the box, and if you have an intel based socket it comes with its own bracket for attachment.Honestly, it's a lot cheaper than an AIO cooler, and it does its job quite well for the pricepoint. I can't complain much.

A Towering Masterpiece of Thermal Management, Cloaked in Black Aluminum Mystery!
The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black CPU Air Cooler is not merely a cooling device—it’s a monument to engineering excess and aesthetic restraint. Standing tall with its black aluminum top cover, it whispers, “Yes, I cool things, but I also do it in style.”The SickleFlow 120 Edge PWM fan isn’t just a fan; it’s a turbine of serenity, spinning in near silence while blasting heat into oblivion. The 4 copper heat pipes work overtime, as if they’re personally offended by thermal inefficiency. Together, they form a heat-destroying squad that would make a supervillain’s lair feel downright chilly.Installing this monolith requires some spatial awareness (and possibly a small sacrifice to the PC gods), but once seated, it commands respect. My CPU now operates at arctic temperatures, blissfully unaware of the fiery chaos outside. If your PC deserves a cooler that’s equal parts performance and dramatic flair, the Hyper 212 Black is your thermal savior. Warning: prolonged admiration of its craftsmanship may delay booting your system.

Easy to use and works great
This product looks and works great, it’s been in my PC for about 6 months now and still works as well as it did when I first added it. The size wasn’t an issue for my case, but your mileage may vary. As for cooling, keeping my Ryzen 7 5700g at around 35-45 degrees idle. Not bad IMO. Great cooler, would definitely get it again in the future.
