A King's Ransom (The 39 Clues: Cahills vs. Vespers, Book 2) - Audio Audio CD – Unabridged, December 6, 2011

I think this book was really good but I hate Calif hangers but I did not mind this one can't wait till my parents my me the next one. I hope they don't kill adicas but I think they will :(. I love these book they are the best ever they make reading FUN.

This book continue's the saga between the Cahill Madrigals and the Vespers. It is loaded with action and adventure while it sneaks in history and geography lessons. There are some mature issues; murder, attempted murder, and kidnapping. The story is well written and leaves you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next book.

My son and I won't reading these books every night before bed. This series has been worthwhile and enjoy, thanks.

The story is engaging; I enjoyed reading it. Some of the characters are a bit improbable. Working together to solve problems, they make their extreme differences mesh together well.

I bought this series for my nephews who are now 14 and 15 years of age. They have loved them and I have to admit that I have been reading them right along with them. They are written very well. They are one of those books that grad you and don't want to let you go till you reach the end and then you are craving the next book by the time it comes out.

Another great book in the 39 Clues book series. As always the story is fast paced and exciting. Thankfully the authors of these books keep in mind that you've already read the previous books and don't spend whole chapters on things that happend in the other books. Another great read.

My 11 year old nephew who loves in Sweden wanted this book for his birthday. He reads/speaks English fluently. He read this in less than a week then proceeded to read it again. I personally haven't read it but based on his reading habits I would say it was a winner.

My sister recommended this book for my 16-year-old nephew as a part of his Christmas gift from me. He loves this series and has read all of the first series and plans to read all of the second as soon as he can. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

A thriller must read for every 39 clues fan there are so many twists and the ending is a real cliffhanger

My son loves the 39 Clues series and he got me reading it too. Fun collection of books! I would recommend these for teens and young-at-heart adults alike

This is another great sequel. The more books I read in this series the more I want to read. All the information are ingenious, bursting with erudition. More characters are added in this book and it makes the coterie seem really intelligent and able bodied to tackle any master mind criminal enemy family. However, Dan could be gathering the wrong ingredients to become even more exposed to the Vespers!!! I can hardly wait to read the next book "The Dead of Night". Have fun!!!
