Perfect Product - Experience Improved!!
The NeoTrix charger device itself does exactly as designed provided you provide a solid/reliable 5V supply with plenty of current at the input of the device. THAT requirement is tricky at best. Read on....Found ALL of the avail 5V 2.1A wall/car chargers inadequate for either the amount of voltage and/or current these devices need to keep up with the charge demands of the device, long standard USB cable coupled with the loss in efficiency inherent in the wireless charger specification.Problems experienced(NOT THE NEOTRIX DEVICE AT ALL!!!):1) Slow Charge (500ma lowest mode......)2) Common Apple 'Device Not Supported' message when using with/on iPhones with add-on charge coils3) Charge fails to 'keep-up' on a phone experiencing heavy-draw (tethering or poor-cell service strength)Why do the above things happen with such a great device? How to avoid/work-around?5V at the USB input of the NeoTrix device results in near 4V when the charger/phone together attempt higher currrent demands/loads. The NeoTrix Device cannot keep up the higher current mode after initially appearing to work fine, falling to a lowest power charge mode shortly thereafter and ultimately failing to charge resulting he error message or slow charge. The slow performance drop is first blamed on small gauge wire in the long USB cables, small contact surfaces of the micro-USB connector, and ultimately everything heats slowly over the length if the cabling system. 5V at charger ends up barely 4V at the charger that attempts to maintain 5V at the device being charged. To make that work, the current increases further worsening the problem via resistance/heat.How I mitigated/eliminated my charge problems:1) SHORT HEAVY GAUGE High-Quality USB Cable (<3Foot). This is the easiest, yet somewhat impractical. Prevents the loss across the cable impacting the voltage at the input of the NeoTrix Charger. can simply bring the wall-wart REALLY close to the NEOTRIX base to make that 4" USB Cable work.Yes, that works great in the car too. Consider keeping the USB cable as short as possible. They make a 4in cable! Get a 12V extension instead bringing the 12V to USB Jacks closest to the NEOTRIX Wireless Car Charger....2) I ended up purchasing universal wall-adapters. Those with selectable voltage and device barrel connections including a micro-USB connector. The position I chose on the adapter was 6V. That alone is NOT enough. The NEOTRIX doesn't like to be overdriven beyond 6.1V. When that happens, it won't function until it is brought near to 6V. All my universal adapters were 6.15V. I adjusted the internal trim resistors to achieve 6V. That 6V across a regular LONG USB cable yields just over 5V at the NEOTRIX input. ALL previous performance problems completely resolved. The car universal device was modified he same way. Works great! When looking for the home universal, look for the one that has the wired and a 5V 2.1A USB jack on the wall-wart. That unit I swapped the 6V trim to a 1K resistor, remove the wired universal cable, and rewired the case mount jack to be the trimmed 6V output instead of the intended 5V output.Stand is thick powder coated steel. Feet are super grippy. Receiver side magnet pads are really well made. Would have preferred a thinner solution for use under thinner cases.Car mount solutions is just as well-thought out. Very complete kit.Hope all of this helps improve your already pretty great experience with this product.

High powered charger works best
Nice concept but it stopped working with certain USB chargers. Using a Motorola quick charge power supply works great. Have to use the supplied metal insert inside a case or own a metal back/phone that works with a magnet.

Doesn’t work at all.
I bought this as soon as the iPhone X was announced. And I’m only now getting to try it out since I got my phone. It doesn’t work at all. I would give it zero stars if I could. I’m using a very thin minimalist case and still it wont charge.

Worth the price!
Works great, just wish it fast charged! Other than that the magnets that are included are strong enough.

I love it!
I had already purchased the Neotrix Magnetic charger for my car and I loved it! (Still do.) So when I needed a wireless desk charger (and since my phone already had the magnetic patch on it) this is what I decided to get. Yep, I love it.

A good idea
If you have the car version of this then you'll reall love this charger. Because that the magnet+phone case makes this so thick some wireless chargers don't seem to work right away or at all. So having both Neotrix home and car charger is a win in. Also I've had other wireless qi chargers and this one charges a little bit faster than my other ones.

Works as advertised
This review is for the desk charger. It's not clear from the pictures or description but the stand is powder coated metal and not plastic. It's very solid and will not break or bend (without a lot of force).I have a Google Pixel in a "Spigen Tough Armor" case. I'm using the "Nillkin Magic Tag USB C Qi Wireless Charger Receiver" with this charger.I'm using the larger black magnetic sticker that came with the charger. The smaller and thinner magnetic sticker it aslo comes with worked but the magnetic grip wasn't strong enough for my liking. With the thicker magnetic sticker and the receiver placed between the two plastic pieces of my case the distance between the charger and receiver is approximately 4mm. This is important, the farther away theIt took a bit of trial and error to get the placement of everything right (I used Scotch tape while testing). I'm getting up to 890mA charging current when the charger is powered by a 2A adapter which is great considering the max this charger supplies and my receiver can accept is 1,000mA. I am able to charge at 1,000mA without the case and battery so this product certainly works as advertised.
