Good seed count and strong germination so far
I ordered these creeping thyme seeds to cover a few bare spots around the walkways and to see if I could get a low growing ground cover started without spending a lot of money. The packet came with a generous amount of seed and they looked clean with no debris mixed in. I started some indoors in trays and sprinkled the rest directly on the soil outside. The indoor batch sprouted first and came up evenly which gave me confidence that the seed was fresh. The outdoor patch took a little longer but it still came up after the weather warmed. The plants stay low and spread out fast once they get established. The color is bright and adds a nice look to the edges of the yard. If you keep the soil lightly damp during the early days you should see good results. For the price this is a solid buy and a simple way to fill in empty areas without dealing with high maintenance plants. I am happy with how many sprouted and will likely get more to expand the area next season.

Stay away from these seeds, waste of effort, time, and money.
The germination rate for these seed was less than 20% and the planting was attempted under ideal conditions and carefully monitored. When the seeds did germinate, they were not creeping thyme, not really sure yet what they will turn out to be. Picture on the left is what sprouted from the purchased seeds, picture on the right is creeping thym purchased locally. Not expensive but still a waste of effort, time, and money. Stay away!

I see little sprouts
Everything I read about starting creeping time said it was almost impossible to get started. . Well I made a nice soil mix around and above my rock walls. I planted the seeds. I put a very light dusting of soil over them and then also a very light layer of mulch. I watered them thoroughly twice a day and in a very short period of time they started to emerge. I was so delighted that so much of it germinated. I will continue to baby them until I get my first flowers. I truly was surprised they even germinated. very happy.

DO NOT BUY
NOTHING! After a month... NOTHING. Perfectly graded soil, water everyday, NOTHING growed. These "seeds" were a rip off. I'm never buying any seeds from Amazon again. Run people, run! These are a waste of time and anticipation. I'll never know what kind of seeds i planted- for they have never sprouted. SO Dissapointing to say the least- IT's BEEN A MONTH!!!!!

Big crew, but they didn’t have any color to them. They were only green.

So far so good I’ve got growth.
Finally had the time to spread these out in a small area on my back patio. I live in a condo and there’s a small strip of dirt next to fence. Didn’t want something to maintain anything big. Well threw them on the dirt patch watered heavily in 90f heat and to my surprise 3 days later I’ve got growth. So far so good let’s see if the grow fully with little maintenance. Living mid Atlantic coastal.

You don’t know what you will get!
I bought 13 packets of these seeds! I planted this all around my patio and stepping stones in my back yard If these had been what I thought I was getting, it would have looked beautiful. But what I got was Cowscockle and it grew to a foot and a half high. They look like weeds and I’m going to have to pull them all! After spending 2 hours on the phone they offered me a $50. Refund or as the supervisor put it an “exception”. Now I am going to go to small claims court and charge them for the time I spent planting them and pulling them up!
