I was skeptical about these but a few mountain biking friends recommended them, I have to say they weren’t wrong, will definitely be my go to energy bar from now on. They’re tasty, nutritious and easy to digest, and the organic wrapped makes disposal super easy too. 10 out of 10.

Well packaged tasty and gives a welcome energy boost with the added bonus of not having to worry about how you dispose of the wrapper, whats not to like!

I’m not a fan of gels so wanted something different. I like the fact you could throw the ‘wrapper’ being a dried leaf. It is very sweet! A whole square was too much for a 15k but perfect to nibble on. I only used half at a time. Taste is nice and does the job of quick reboot of energy when starting to flag.

Much easier to use than gels or gummies and I love that the wrapping can be discarded without littering the ground. The taste is great too and it does give you that extra unth needed on any run or workout. My only slight concern is that the wrapping can break or if running in the wet can start to break apart quickly meaning if you don't use a whole block and want to keep it, it's hard to store afterwards. You do get 10 for the price though the taste is great (I have the coffee and Guava) me and a few from my running club have now moved across to these and as more people try and taste them I think most of us will transfer from Gels or gummies. The issues I have with Gels is the packaging and how easily it gets sticky sometimes your hands too, you are unable to discard the wrapper and some do give you issues with your stomach. I liked the gummies but it's not that easy to get them out of the packet plus they do get stuck to your teeth and than you have the wrapper also at the end. These are easy to open during a run, no mess and a quick bite is all you need every now and then. I recommend to anyone to at least try them.

Perfect for marathon training

I have chronic fatigue and foods with high sugar affect my condition. I became extremely sleepy, which is what usually happens if I eat something with a lot of sugar in it. Unsurprisingly, 23g of sugar per portion. Also 0 protein. Not for me. Delivery was fast though

Went cycling up Mt Tiede in Tenerife (>2 hours climbing from sea level) and had previously found it very challenging regarding fuelling and having enough energy. This year I had a pack of 10 luchos energy blocks (the pack fit snuggly in the back of my jersey) and a couple of minutes after eating the blocks I genuinely felt a good kick of sustained energy, even when the legs were really suffering! A very minor consideration is that these are best consumed stationery or at very slow speed as the natural vine leaves need a bit of unwrapping. I found them much tastier than all the previous gels I've tried and were very easy on the stomach. The fact that they're vegan and come in compostable wrapping is a bonus! Looking forward to trying the other flavours.

I got these to try for my long distance cycle rides. They are good, taste great, provide good energy, and the wrappers being biodegradable are handy too.

Perfect Product!

Amazing product! The texture and flavour is so satisfying to have during a run. This totally boosted my energy and isn't awkward to eat while moving. The block is quite big so maybe cut before if you don't want to eat it all in one go as it is very sweet!

Für den schnellen Glukosekick prima. Lässt sich super mitnehmen, extrem süß. Sonst geschmacklich unauffällig, da die Süße für mich alles überdeckt. Okay, wenn es schnell gehen muss.
