Unusual colour, very well made, very reasonable to buy (at least when I bought it - well under £10 incl postage). No negatives at all. Looks fantastic on my black labrador.July 2018. Sadly a flaw.. the D ring that you connect your lead to rusts. This presumably is because the inferior metal material is 'painted over' with black 'paint' which in time erodes allowing the underlying metal to corrode. We have a labrador who loves the river. Nuff said.. Such a shame as everything else is still great and there is plenty of wear in it. But a light coloured collar that now has rust stains no longer screams 'quality'.. And I've never hit this problem before with other dog paraphenalia. If I were reviewing now this would be 3.5*

Just three months after buying this I have to admit to being very disappointed. My dog has thick white fur around her neck and the black coating on the collar ring has worn off leaving an unsightly grey stain in her fur. It has proven very difficult to wash this out so have had to stop using the collar.

nice collar, arrived on time, fits nicely for a cocker spaniel, easily adjustable. The problem is after 2 weeks of wear by the dog and 3 visits to the beach with freshwater showers afterwards, it's rusting already. As a previous reviewer mentioned, for the manufacturer of a dog collar not to produce a collar capable of dealing with a bit of sea water seems, as Spock would say, illogical.

Brought this as an in between collar for a very fast growing puppy but think I’d buy the same one again when he reaches full size (larger size obviously). It looks nice (he’s had lots of compliments on it) and reflective strips make him stand out. When he covers it in mud a quick rinse and a spell on the radiator and it’s good as new again. He’s also didn’t like wearing previous collars but finds this one more comfortable and doesn’t scratch constantly.

Collar came on time and exactly as described. Is extremely sturdy and looks great on our Golden Red Cocker Spaniel. We ordered a medium and it fits perfectly with room for her to grow to twice her size with its expandable part. Fantastic price, fantastic product and fantastic delivery. Top Job!

Our little dog's leather collar was giving him a sore bald patch on his throat, so I needed to get something softer. The collar is lovely and soft with a spongey feel to it. It washes really easily, I usually take it off when washing the dog and literally just wet it and shampoo it between my hands quickly, then rinse and leave it to dry in the sun or near a radiator. I suspect it could be easily thrown in he washing machine but I didn't want to risk damaging the dog tag or my machine.My dog is a chihuahua cross patterdale and is very, very tiny. The extra small fits him perfectly but really is EXTRA small, so if in doubt order the next size up. I often struggle to find collars and harnesses small enough for him, so am very impressed!Excellent quality for an excellent price. Highly recommended.

I bought from Amazon Warehouse as unfortunately other sellers were not posting to Ireland. This meant that my colour choice was limited to purple only... Which wouldn't have been my first choice.The collar itself seems to be good quality and my dog seems happy wearing it so I assume it's comfortable. I have a Labrador and bought a large which is a good fit.The only negative is the colour, it's really not very nice, it's a very very pale and almost white-looking purple. Normally there's an option to upload photos with reviews but I don't see that option at the moment. Judging by photos in other reviews I am sure the other colours are nicer and this is (of course) just down to personal choice.All in all this is a well priced collar and I had it delivered and all for under 7GBP (Amazon Warehouse so this was priced down slightly due to being repackaged). Halti is a good brand that I know and trust and there are much more expensive collars on here that really aren't half as good quality so if in doubt I'd go for this one... But maybe not the purple.

I bought this for our new Puppy because of being a reputable make,( I have the matching lead and harness,but on 2 occasions had trouble getting the clasp to undo,the second time impossible, to the distress of the puppy,I managed to loosen the collar enough to try and squeeze through her head,which it did just.I am debating to get the medium size now after this problem, so may look for an alternative, so not very pleased with this collar at all.Update: Fair play they sent me a replacement collar within 24 hours,let's hope this is a one off?
