Works Great
This has worked much better than the old brass valve w/ long float stem and float which was wearing out every 5-6 months.I'm using it on a 1200 gallon reserve potable water tank w/ a jet pump pulling out of tank for farm use 24/7.(It's lasted a year now)

Looks good but….
I not use till now because I couldn’t find the pressure needed in order to close the water delivery, my water system is served by a pump that could reach more than 50 feet of delivery high. But seems to be useful

Water will not stop
The media could not be loaded. I installed this valve in my new rock fountain and was looking forward to not having to refill the reservoir every two days. The first time I filled the reservoir it appeared that the water had shut off, but being skeptical I hung around to see what would happen. after 5 minutes, the water had risen to the very top with no indication that it would stop. The valve is hard piped below a galvanized screen and a layer of decorative rocks so I couldn't see where the water was coming from but I know the fittings were secure having used Teflon tape and T-1 pipe sealant. Do not buy this product, it is defective and (past return deadline.

Good stuff
We’ve used a few dog bowls for auto-filling. Each one either leaked or over-filled or didn’t fill. A small clamp and hose adapter we were able to mount this to the side of a dog bowl and for almost a month it’s filled as expected, hasn’t leaked and worked exactly as expected. We bought another one to use for our outdoor water. Both units work exactly as we would expect and have been pleased.
