Catalyst Water Proof Shock Resistant Case for Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 (Alpine White)

I bought this from seller, PrimeParts. Be aware that this is only for the iPhone 7 (so right away, this is falsely advertised). I talked with Catalyst (the manufacturer) and was informed that this case is only meant for the iPhone 7. They have an iPhone 8 case, but it only comes in black. I liked this case at first and it was very protective. I dropped my phone quite a few times and had no issues, the phone came out fine. However, the front rubber-like material did start peeling only after a few weeks, and has gotten worse. Not sure if that caused the case to become compromised, but it is not as waterproof as it once was. The front protective screen does pop up from time to time, causing some rainbowing and irritating space between the glass. As I'm unsure if this is an authentic case, I can't give a recommendation. I would say buy this from an authorized seller. I'm currently working with Amazon, as Catalyst has told me this is not an authentic case.
