Great item. Had it configured and running within a matter of minutes. Have installed a 240gb SSD to give me additional storage.

Surprised how small the device is, expected it to be alot bigger. Waiting for my cameras and doorbell to fully integrate it all but what surprised me was it has Apple Homekit Integration with Apple Homekit Secure Video. It completed a firmware update so they maybe enabled it with that, not sure.

It’s woks alright it but it’s has turned off a few times which have been annoying

I held off buying a Eufy Homebase unit for sometime questioning myself whether I really needed it to accompany my 3 Eufy wireless cameras. As the video footage was being stored on the cameras themselves, trying to review footage sometimes resulted in timeouts and disconnections which got very frustrating. Finally I decided to buy the Homebase unit and it has improved the reliability of the set-up enormously, and the AI detection facility within it works very well. Another plus point is that the battery life of the cameras has also improved as file transfer (reads/writes) are to the Homebase and not the camera.

The product look pretty good, fascinating and not bulky. it works well and its advanced AI facial recognition features are great and i like that i cann now store my recordings locally and have complete control, how i just wish the extra storage could be purchased together with the product as an option, and there appears to be no hard disks in the store.

Great little homebase 3

Cameras all worked fine and I was able to access them instantly through the App until I installed this and added the cameras to it. The network then slowed down and I either couldn't access the cameras or it took multiple attempts; and for what? Apparently it records and allows tagging of names to faces of people (so what, I can identify them myself from the clips). It stores the recording's centrally - so why when accessing it does it just show space on the hard drive and not the clips? You have to go back to the cameras (which it is slowing down) to access the event on the camera which then goes to this storage to retrieve it (which again either fails or takes multiple attempts!!... Sent the problems to the help desk who responded but it seems they're unlikely to re-think this and change anything. Good idea in theory but barking mad solution. Mines gone back for a refund.
