The power is undeniably impressive. This amp drives all my headphones effortlessly, making it the cheapest beast I’ve come across. The sound is slightly less refined compared to the 9-series, but at this price, the performance is already a steal. Absolutely love it!

Probably the very best headphone amplifier out there. I've had it for nearly two years, and it's been trouble free. Unbelievable power, will drive virtually any headphone, completely transparent and distortion free, and has a really cool set of features including some great options for VU meters in its electronic display. Was only $400, so an absolute steal. Don't know why anyone would want anything else. It has my highest recommendation. It is literally as good as it get.

I bought this and the topping A90 D. I compared the tw. I found no real great difference in the audio. but the overall versatility of the topping A7-0 pro made the choice a no brainer. just the ability to set a volume safety so you do not blow up your headphones makes this a clear choice. I am using it as a headphone amp only. So I can not say anything about the pre-amp capabilities of this unit. Like the remote control as well.

This is clearly one of the most powerful headphone amplifiers you will find anywhere. Unfortunately, there is a known flaw that affects planar headphones with low impedance and high sensitivity. The amp will go into safe mode and cut out audio when the volume is turned up beyond the 70 range. Topping tried to address this with a firmware update but this didn’t fix the problem. I returned the A70 Pro and Amazon immediately refunded me. I chose a different brand with similar power output. If you primarily use dynamic headphones, you’ll be fine with the A70 Pro. If you have planar magnetic headphones, stay away. You have been warned.

Solidly built, quality headphone amp that does it's one job perfectly. The only issue I had with the Topping A70 was that it shorted out due to static electricity that transferred accidentally from my headphones to the amp. I contacted the Amazon 3rd-party seller (Topping can't be contacted directly for service) and after some fix suggestions, had me return it (It was still under warranty) - to China, no less - for repair. It took the best part of two months to get returned to me, but it was in perfect condition after the repair and I wasn't charged anything, even for the postage. So as long as you are still under warranty, you will get it fixed if you have a problem.

I put together the A70Pro D70Pro Octo and it's a mind blower. I'm convinced technology can't get better than this stack. I also have an SMSL SP400/M400 which is right up there with it. Pair it with something more affordable that outputs 5 volts like an SMSL DL200 or SMSL D-6s and you don't have to melt down a credit card. I've got both the SMSL's and tried both, it's just the best amplifier I've ever heard for detail and silent noise floor. The warning on the menu before going into high gain is reassuring. Firmware is a breeze to install with the new method. If your white whale is the Hifiman HE6se, you can do a -6.9db preamp reduction for an autoeq profile and still blow the doors off volume on those things even on pre-volume war recordings (it was the first thing I had to try). To compare, on my Topping A90 it ran out of volume wheel in high gain trying that with a 4 volt D90 DAC. The only problem is it's going to make everything else you have sound like a disappointment. Put the Hifiman Arya Stealth on this, and say goodbye to your holy grail quest to upgrade every 2 months...

I purchased this as a part of a stack paired with the D70 Pro OCTO DAC and I absolutely love it. This amp is perfect for my needs. It powers my Arya's to earbleeding levels with absolutely no hiccups, distortion, or dropouts. I would say it definitely provides the amount of power advertised. I really enjoy the built-in high resolution, high refresh rate screen. It makes this feel like a very modern piece of gear, as it is.

A50S/P50から更改でプリアンプとしての使用。 2024/7の購入で製番2310…、Fw2.02だった。 当初は低音出ず、中音キラキラしすぎ、ボーカル引っ込むなど違和感が多かったが、3週間程で低音が出て重心が下がり音が整理されスッキリして違和感無く良くなった。A50Sに比べ音が柔らかく楽に出てくる感じで音の質感も向上。筐体もほとんど熱くならないので、コンデンサ劣化の心配が少ない。 コンセント部で直接電源オフしているが、電源オン時に音量値や入出力設定は前回オフ時の状態で立ち上がる。 このまま「HP DC異常」などのトラブルが起きないことを期待。今のところ良いアンプな印象。

My HD600 sound way better with this amp. Before I had tried a cheaper solid state as well as a popular tube amp. This destroys both.

The amplifier does not retain the users settings C1 & C2 when the power switch is off and the power cable is removed. If the power cable is removed, actually none of the settings are saved. It even asks to set the language again when the power comes back on. I installed the latest firmware V2.02, but the problem is the same. Not very impressive actually.

Excellent ampli. Assurez-vous d'activer le gain élevé pour vos configurations balance et HPA. Je l'ai associé à mon Topping D90 III Discrete. Excellente combinaison. J'espère simplement que Topping parviendra à créer l'ampli A90 PRO à l'avenir avec plus de clarté et une scène sonore plus large, tout en conservant la plage dynamique et la 3D (pour une sensation de réalisme époustouflante). L'A70 PRO fait un excellent travail pour le moment et se marie bien avec mon Discrete si vous souhaitez ajouter une touche moins linéaire et plus réaliste, comme dans un concert.

ATH-ADX5000利用者です。 Babyface Pro FS（以降BPFSと表記）で聴いてましたがバランス接続用ケーブルAT-B1XA/3.0がずっと気になっており、かといってBPFSのヘッドホン出力はかなり品質が良く、バランス接続が使えるHPAもハイエンドクラスを用意しないと肝心の音が劣化するのではないかという怖さがありました。 もちろんハイエンドが買えれば一番良いのですが、予算には限りがあるので今回はこちらを購入してみました。心配していた音が劣化したら〜は、結果杞憂でした。 まずは同じアンバランスで比較してみましたが、「何も変わらない」が第一印象でした。 ただ集中して聴きこむとA70Proの方が僅かに煌びやかで、逆に言うとBPFSの方が僅かに自然な音でした。誤差レベルの違いであるので、本当にあえて言うならば、です。 つまり入力音を殆ど味付けしていないと言え、DACが大事になると感じました。まずは既存機器の性能に、キャラは微妙に違えど負けてはいないという確信を得ました。ひと安心です。 そして目的であったAT-B1XA/3.0でバランス接続に変えてみると、これは結構分かり易い違いが出ました。 低域はより深く沈み込み、全体的には今迄色気と煌びやかさが目立っていたADX5000の美音が、それらを損なう事なく適切な力強さとさらなる音の輪郭や質感描写を得たように感じます。 次はイヤホンのバランス4.4mm（水月雨StarLight＋SednaEarfit Crystal2）で比較してみました。 BTR15 vs BPFS+A70Proなので勝負にならないかと思いきやそうでもなく、確かに違うのですがStarLightではそこまで上流の違いに敏感な差異を表現できないのかもしれません。（前者も本当に高いレベルでよい音を聴かせてくれますのでコスパが良いとも言えます。） 操作はリモコンによるカスタム設定のボタン割当2種保存機能や、本体ボリュームボタン押込への機能割当（私はミュートに設定）がとても便利です。全体的によく出来ておりプリアンプへの出力も音を殆ど変えず素直に出してくれているようです。これも強いて言えば若干煌びやかに（リスニング向けに）なっている微差はありますが。 A70Proで、あえて言えば気になるかも、という点は ・入出力にRCAとXLRがあるがパススルーはできない ・ボリュームを回す時に、ノブから鳴るリレー音に似た物理音がうるさくはないが邪魔 ・ボリュームを回す量に比べて音量変化が小さいので、音量調整が快適とは言えない ・GAINのLowからHighへの切替（ヘッドホンのインピーダンスによる設定変更）が耳へ危険で、切替後にボリュームを自動で下げる仕様にするべき 結論としてはコストパフォーマンスが高い良い機種だと思います。 これで当分の間、文句は出ないかなというリスニング環境になりました。 この先を求めるなら費用がグンと跳ね上がり、更に良くなるとはいえ小さな違いを得る世界だと思います。でもこの違いに費用がかかるのが（かけるのが）オーディオであり、醍醐味であるのですけど。 随分と大きな、小さな違いとも言えます。
