This was purchased for our 12 yr old granddaughter for archery.
Our granddaughter loves it. We purchased the small. She is very thin and it could be a little smaller but she will still get a lot of good out of it. I believe the measurements are true, she is just very small. her bow is almost as big as she is, but she has a genuine love for the sport.

Great protection for My thin Skin old lady Arms
I am on steroids and have very frail thin skin. I bruise very easily and get skin tears. I am 68 years old and have numerous men and women of age with same issue. It’s embarrassing, unsightly, and uncomfortable.I tried the slip on arm covers but they are thin and cover but offer no protection. These Archery Armguards work perfect because they have a firm piece in the guard that is suppose to protect from bow string. I put the sleeve on with the firm guard part on the top of my forearm and it prevents tears, lacerations from dog or cat, and bruises. The size small fits perfect stays up without sliding. They have multiple colors which are attractive and fun. The are not hot or uncomfortable at all. So glad I found this product.

Fit's well but use with a jacket
Initially I liked it because the size and taper fit well. I have large arms the large is a perfect fit. Then I shot with it. The rubber strip is small and soft basically there is no string protection . I won't shoot again with this over my bare arm, though I'll keep it because this will work good as a compression sleeve when put over a Jacket sleeve.

Best light arm guard
Great arm guard if you don't hit yourself that often or don't mind a light bruise. Got this when I was begining as the very large guards I kept hitting the guard when it wouldn't hit my arm. Switched to this and at the time I did a lot of string slapping and I'd get a small brush on my arms but that's it. I was happy with that, the main thing I wanted to prevent was skin being cut up.I don't hit my arm as much these days but still like to have a guard to keep the occasional mistakes leaving a cut, which this guard is great for. It's just a sleeve so it goes on easy and stays in place pretty well and you can place it kind of where-ever feels most comfortable.

Compression Sleeve plus Padding
This is a simple product in line with my expectations: it's a compression sleeve with a strip of foam padding sewn into one side. I decided to write this review because I feel like the product description is misleading with regard to the "Made in the USA" and "Material Type: Aluminum" claims. I like what this product is, but I don't like that it claims to be something it isn't. Anyway, I've never had particularly bad string lash from a bow, so this forearm guard is simply a precaution for me. I followed the size chart and am happy with the fit.

Nice
Nice after you figure out the placement of the hard part of the guard on your arm. The first few times, I slapped my arm because I had centered the hard part to my forearm. After figuring out where I was being slapped, I readjusted it and it does its job.

Comfy but doesn’t hold up
My 10 year old son loved this bc it was comfortable but it didn’t hold up. The plastic protection inside ended up being exposed and was starting to fray my sons string on his bow
