Great quality, look and very easy to install. Value for the money.

The door plates are quite nice, but the screws, even though they are stainless steel, are not very good quality. I bought three of these plates for my exterior doors and even though I pre-drilled all of the holes, half of the screws striped out. This required me to go to my local hardware store to buy more to finish the job since I wanted to maintain the stainless look. It was because of this, that I knocked one star off the review.

The strike plate was heavy duty and solid! I don't know about the screws but I don't trust screws that aren't made in the USA, so I used the 3" stainless steel deck screws I had from my last project to secure into the wall. I'll save the ones they provided for a light-duty project. You only need 3-4 long screws to ensure that the strike place will withstand a full-on forced entry. It's not going anywhere. Would buy again.

The strike plate is well made and of good quality. I would happily buy this product again. Directions are printed on the back of the package and very basic. That said installation is straightforward. I wrapped some scotch tape around it self to make it double sided and stuck it to the back of the strike plate for the install, so I could test before drilling.As to the rating. I gave it 5 stars. The strike plate is great. The screws are however not so great. They would get 2 stars. It wasn't possible for me to drill 3 inch pilot holes. The screws became difficult to advance after about 2 inches. Out came the Bosh hammer screwdriver, and the first two long screws promptly broke. I ended up using 1.5 inch deck screws which worked quite well. The picture shows how/where the screws broke.

Five stars for this product! I ordered for my dad’s house and I wanted to give it an extra star but it didn’t give me an option. Now when he locks his door at night, you could feel the increased security, it literally locks the door in place so firmly. 100% value for the Money and the ease of installation. I will order another for my house.
