First off, FALSE ADVERTISING ALERT: PU Leather is SYNTHETIC LEATHER. They take the bottom layer of a poor grade leather and top it off with polyurethane (that's PLASTIC for anyone who hasn't taken a chemistry class). PU leather is not as durable as REAL LEATHER. That said, the case actually has a bit of the look and feel of leather.PU leather aside, I like this case. First, if you dropped your phone, this case would offer more protection than a hard case. Because it's more of a soft pouch, the case would give in a drop and absorb much of the energy that would otherwise get transferred to your phone.Second, it's quite functional. You can clip it to your belt, or just stuff the whole thing in your pocket. I also like the way the cover flap snaps closed with magnet power.PU Leather is not as durable as real leather. I will definitely let you know if the case starts coming apart. .One last thing, the belt clip (not to be confused with the loops) is incredibly stiff. When using only the clip to attach the case to my belt, I have pretty good confidence the thing is going to stay put. I think the best place to clip it is on your side, directly under your arm. Whether it retains this stiffness remains to be seen.
