Lindy Bop 'Geneva' Midnight Blue Swing Dress

This dress in size Medium fits me very well. I am 5'4", 127 lbs, bust 36, waist 27 (narrowest part of my waist). I decided on the medium for the bust measurement and it is snug (as it should be) but comfortable. I can breathe fine when it's on.I, too, had an issue with the side zipper - it is sewn too close to the 2 seams that come in perpendicular to it at the waist. I pulled the zipper up and down several times before even putting it on, so it would stretch and loosen a bit. It is still a bit of a struggle to get it past those 2 points, but so far it's working. I'm trying hard not to break the zipper as others have done. It is a bit difficult to zip up and down by myself, but my husband helps me if necessary.The sleeve/shoulders are loose enough to be comfortable dancing. I also purchased a 26" petticoat to go underneath. The dress is not as long as I was expecting based on others' reviews. The petticoat sticks out just a teeny bit at the bottom (not objectionable). The skirt comes to about 2" below my knee, which is very pleasing. I think it also looks very nice without a petticoat.I wear the belt on the second hole in. Your bra should be very low cut in front and toward the sides as the dress is low cut and a wide neck opening.

I spent all day, literally hours, going through just about every store the mall had to offer looking for a dress that would fit me. I am very small in size, though it doesn't seem like it to me, and it is so difficult to find things that fit properly it's almost impossible. Also, if I do happen to find something that fits, it's typically "ugly" or not appropriate (as in it's an informal style). So I decided to look online and had high hopes for this dress: glad I found it! I ordered the XS and surprisingly, finally, it fit! YES! Plus it's a nice style that is quite unique these days. I ordered the petticoat so we will see how that works with the dress.

I bought this dress for a casual outdoor wedding and for my swing dancing class and it is slim. Get the size you think you are and know that your bust will be a bit squished, but when swinging, they won't go anywhere. At first, I thought I bought the wrong size, but after getting it on, I understood the design choice. The color is a bit darker than it looks, but that worked out better for me personally. The skirt is also thick, so no one can see any silhouette through the fabric. I approve of this dress.

Absolutely beautiful dress I truly love this style of dress! I just need to lose a little weight to feel comfortable in. I thought it would fit better then the xl size. I thought the dress would be a wonderful incentive to lose weight and look fabulous in it for Christmas 😄 like I said earlier it is a beautiful dress and it arrived in a quick fashion. This dress is fantastic. It's cute and very well made, as far as I can tell. I wish I'd gotten a size up because the bust is just a touch smaller than anticipated, and at least on mine, there was a bit of an issue with the zipper where it gets stuck on a seam (it's not a fit problem as the zipper still got stuck when I wasn't wearing it). That being said, the dress was well worth the slight hassle. It's my new favorite thing in my closet.

The dress is really cute, but I didn't have a chance to wear this for a while, so I didn't notice until it was too late that the sleeves are uneven. Also the zipper is very "sticky" and hard to zip up. It is very small on top. I am about 34 on top, and the small is tight. It is rather low cut, so keep that in mind if you don't want to add another layer underneath for modesty.

Love the dress. Thankful I read the previous feedbacks so I got an extra large. I usually wear a size 8. I was afraid that the extra large will be too big. However, it fits perfectly in the bust area. I will have to do minor adjustments to the side and waist but not a big deal.

I have been eyeing this dress for a few months. I finally decided to get it for my birthday. Took 10 days to get here and I still have a week to spare until the big day. It fits just as expected. I really do go based off my measurements. I size up because my bust is in between. This is the 15th Lindy Bop dress that I have bought. I love it and I can't wait to wear it to my party and then to work later on.
