Significant drill bits at a better price. If you have a project that chews through pilot bits, don't waste your time resharpening. These last long enough, and at this price, you don't end up using them past their safe-sharpness.

These worked surprisingly well. Drilled 100 holes into a utility trailer steel frame through pressure treated, wet 2x8s. Never broke one, the first bit never took any major damage to the cutting surface. Only swapped to a 2nd bit to get done sooner. 1st bit is still fine. Also never let the bit cooldown or used oil. Didn’t even drill a pilot hole. Just abused them and they held up. Well worth it.

I go through a lot of small drill bits on various metals. The bits are always cheap and randomly selected Chinese crap from various sources. By chance I bought these and some 1/8" bits. I was shocked by how long they last. I drilled a few deep pilot holes with a 1/16" drill bit and it punched through using an old drill press with past their prime bearings. I then made 82, 1/8" holes through tough 16 gage steel, and when done the bit was still as sharp as new. I was impressed, and have just ordered the 3/16 thru 9/16 sizes. Hopefully these also be as tough and durable.

We have found that this drill bit is the perfect size for shooting out of a plastic drink straw....NOT, we use them to drill holes and this size is an often used one. They work fine.
