This worked great for our whole family. No creams needed at all. My husband and daughter are mosquito magnets and get very itchy and inflamed. This thing is a game changer for them. Works on new and old bites. Old bites need more zaps but it still works. Works on ant bites too.Currently treating a fresh wasp sting on my 11 year old. Amazingly it took down the swelling after a few zaps over about an hour. The sting was red, swelling, and making his arm stiff and painful. Used Low setting. After a couple of hours he was much better. Swelling gone, redness gone. Pain significantly reduced. Couldn’t believe it. I looked up if this technology really worked on wasp stings before using it and can confirm it absolutely does. It’s day one of the sting so hopefully it continues to heal. If it doesn’t I’ll edit my review, but so far I am impressed. Essentially the heat and light denature the venom from the insect so it makes sense that it should work on many kinds of insect bites/stings.Kind of silly, but…My only complaint is I wish the Vibis name wasn’t in cursive on the tool. When I pulled it out to show a friend we were both trying to read the cursive lettering with the squiggle at the end. We couldn’t tell what it was so I had to go back to my orders to get the name. The squiggle looks like an “n”, sort of. I don’t know… just written unclear and I really like this tool so want to be able to share my find with others so they can get one too. It’s just one of those finds that you know works and want others to benefit from it.

I really like this zapper. It’s super simple and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. There are two heat settings: one-line and two-line. The one-line is hotter and stings a bit, but not too bad. The two-line is what I usually go with because it’s warm without lasting as long or feeling as intense. The one-line definitely zaps the itch a bit harder, but I don’t mind using the two-line most of the time.I’ve had it for almost two years (20 months) and still haven’t had to charge it since I first got it. Every time I get a bite, I zap it right away and never even feel itchy after. Super handy and so worth it.

There's three things that are at play here that I've found wit this.1) It seems to work if you do it within like 5-10 minutes of being bitten2) I can't tell how much of this is placebo3) Sometimes it clearly doesn't workMy observation:I think this works within 10 minutes after being bitten since the poison is still localized enough. Hasn't hit the blood stream. After that 10 minutes, it's basically placebo, and then the itching is back in full force. It definitely feels like it works, since it definitely gets hot, and there's definitely blue lights that do look like other UVC devices I own.I do like its shape and size. So small, so compact with USB C charging. It does legitimately last like forever, so the 400 per charge claim seems more than legit. Charged it once, and haven't charged it since after a year.Only issue is lining up the ceramic plate on top of the bite. I think it should be a tiny cup, so the bite mound latches onto the ceramic plate, which would also increase the plate's surface area, and you pushing down on it would allow for the blue light to make contact with the skin as well. I'm talking about like 1mm Diameter and 0.5mm deep. I recommend it, it's like 50/50 accurate.

This philosophy has been serving me well since I purchased this handy contraption last year. I did read some of the reviews about a pain factor due to the heat, for me, it doesn’t bother me. I’ll routinely do two rounds on high. It’s not exactly pleasant but it is satisfying and does relieve the itch. I also like deep tissue massages, I’d compare it to that level of it hurts but in a good way. It’s lasted for over a year, works well, travels well. Pretty easy to use with a high and low setting. I tested it on low first, of course, and then got brave and tried high. For me, low was too low and high was perfect.

I never write reviews, but this thing has been life changing for me. It’s incredible how consistently effective it is. I’m someone who gets bit a lot no matter what and welts up badly (like 20 bite on one ankle). This thing has significantly reduced the welting and gets rid of itching for several hours (at least) and stops the histamine response that causes all your other bites to flare up when you start itching one. I’ve tried everything and it’s better than any creams, crushed up NSAID pastes, kinesiology patches, and the Bug Bite Thing suction device. I can tell immediately when I need to do it twice on one spot or do it on high to make sure the itching stops. But once it’s gone, it stays that way for a long time (sometimes permanently). The battery life is really good and it’s so easy to carry around in your pocket. I rave about it to everyone and now most my friends have one too.

Love this product so much I have two! I have dyshidrotic eczema and this is the only thing that keeps me from tearing my skin apart when I get a flare up. Works on mosquito bites too but I find that I have to use the product on bug bites over the course of a couple days to completely remove the itch but that just might be because my skin reacts more to bug bites. Love that it has two heat levels and holds a charge for a long time. It’s the size of a pen so it’s easily portable and durable as well for the price.

Works like magic! Stops itch immediately and it doesn't return! I used to scratch until it bled and always had a scar. I wish I had this thing years ago.

I am sold! My 5yr old son and I are mosquito magnets. This has helped us from itching and bleeding from itching. It does hurt a little (it's hot) but worth not wanting to itch and my son is scared at first but says okay because he hates itching. It is worth the money, just get it!!!! I might get another one to just have in the camper.
