Chair Defender: Keep Pets Off of Your Furniture! (Black)

We have someone in the home who is mildly allergic to dogs, and our little beagle / cocker spaniel mix's hair and dander can be problematic. Keeping her off the furniture and our regular handwashing do wonders to help with that issue. Keeping her off the furniture has been hard, as she isn't crated during the day, and she's really athletic. We tried piling different items on the furniture and also tried covering them with slippery tarps. Both of these options were a hassle to set up and move aside - who wants to live like that? Plus, she continued to either move the items off to get to the couch, or lie down on the tarp itself. These couch defenders are great. She hasn't challenged them. They expand to whatever width you need, and when we want to clear them off, we simply compress them and tuck them behind the furniture. A dog or cat who is really determined to be on the furniture may not be put off by these, but they work great for us. We have a chair defender and two couch defenders for the two loveseats we want to protect. I was considering crating her while we're gone, but now we don't need to. Everyone is happier.

Works very well, my pitbulls do not get one the couch at all when this is on. It is an eyesore but better than having dog hair and drool on the couch!

It is keeping my pups out of the chair that they’ve had access to for all their lives. They just avoid that chair now. It is light weight and easy to store when company comes over. Stays in place.

Awesome! Keeps the dogs off the new furniture. The sides are firm and a little longer to slide between the cushions keeping it in place. Easy to fold and store with bag. Highly recommend

They do work. Just wish I didn't have to use the. Lol but they do cover the furniture and are easy to unfold and refold and store nicely

I have two large dogs, one who has chewed every coach I've ever owned. He's not terrible, but eventually, as he's sitting on it, he'll start licking the cushion and chew a hole. When I found this I was so happy and I finally bought furniture that I like. I've had them (one couch defender and 2 chair defenders) for a few months and my dogs don't even go near the furniture. The dog that chewed the furniture and will do anything to sit on something comfortable doesn't even try to push these off. I seriously tried everything before this and would have saved so much money if I had known about this.They're also very easy to put up and they're compact, so it slides away nicely when I want to sit on my furniture. Highly recommend!!

Works great to keep a Cairn Terrier off the couch and chair ( I bought 1 couch and 1 chair protector ). The chair is oversized, maybe 34" cushion width and it works great, could probably go a few more inches. The couch one works for an 84" couch. Mine is 91" at the rear but it has a slight curve and tapers to around 86" across and it functions well. It would probably stretch to 91".The only slightly negative is that they want to always be extended and using the clips to hold closed are annoying so I just push it under the couch or chair and am careful to hold it together before putting it in.Takes about 5 seconds to put up or take down. Excellent product.

I use them to keep my dog off the furniture when I’m gone and it’s undefeated! Once home it folds up nicely and can be stored easily.
