EB1D Mashing Bin Vessel Home Brew All Grain Beer Brewing

This review is based on my older non-electronic version.1) For brewing a standard 40 pint brew, I would not want to step down from the 32 litre version to this 25 litre one, particularly for the boil.2) The older thermostatic control is very adequate for controlling temperature during mashing (although it is not calibrated in degrees and a bit of experimentation is needed). However, no thermostat can give a simmering rather than vigorous boil. Boiling with this thing does tend to over-do it. I am going to build a (duty cycling) controller for a more sensible boil. This newer versions with electronic control says it does this much better.
