Andre Assous Women's Anouka Close Toe Espadrille

These shoes are advertised as "Anouka" and the photos of the shoes on Amazon are "Anouka" but the actual shoes that were shipped to me are the cheaper "Anie" style. Even the box says "Anouka" but these are NOT the "Anouka" style. I know this because I own a pair of actual "Anouka" shoes. You can tell the knock-off because the Andre Assous name appears lengthwise on the bed of the "Anouka" shoe and on two separate lines at the heel on the "Anie" shoe. Also, the "Anouka" box is plain. The "Anie" on the other hand, has a bright blue box with a colorful lid. The "Anie" shoe, which sells for half the price of the "Anouka," is narrower, doesn't cover the toes as well, and is not as comfortable.

Look great & very comfortable when I put them on, then wore all day & they weren't. Having them stretched. My feet are wide so if you have regular feet they're probably ok. I do have to say also the sole is that raffia like stuff with ridges that you can feel after about an hour. Foot petals will help. Saw lookalikes in Ralph Lauren for $59 at the mall, but they felt heavy & these are very light weight. I'll know after having stretched if they were worth the $$$.

I love these shoes. These are the second pair I've had. I completely wore the old ones out but they lasted over 2 summers. They are the only summer shoes that I can wear comfortably around NY City all day long. They do stretch out a bit but with some double-sided tape and an insert or two they stay wonderful.

I bought this shoe and the Ralph Lauren version to see if the higher price tag meant a more comfortable and better made shoe, but this shoe is nearly identical in every way shape and form as the much lower priced Ralph Lauren version. Maybe this one would wear better over time, but I simply couldn't justify the big price tag.

Great shoe- cute and extremely comfortable. Unfortunately runs very big so I had to send them back and they didn't carry them in a smaller size.

These would have been great if they fit. Order at least one size larger than you normally do! Sending these back.

I love these espadrilles so much this is my second color pair. I tried other versions, but the quality and comfort of these can't be matched

the ankle portion did not fit well and looked bad. otherwise, i loved these shoes!
