eVogues Women's Striped Dress Skirt

Really cute dress, great contrast in the color! A bit heavier than I imagined but it helps it hang nicely. The top is a bit tight if you have larger breasts, but not too tight to be uncomfortable. I'm 5'4" and wearing this dress normally it comes down to above my ankles.

As stated in other reviews this dress is on the small side and very clingy. Depending on your body and how you feel about it you might need shapewear under it as a dress. However as a skirt it is wonderful. The v stripe design is slimming and attractive. The beauty of this piece is that it is perfect for travel. It won't wrinkle and it works as a dress, a beach cover-up, or as a maxi skirt (good for visiting churches and other religious attractions). I gave it four stars only because of the sizing and the fabric does feel a bit on the cheap side. Still a great wardrobe addition.

I was very sad to find this dress mid calf length. I wish it was floor length. The fabric is nice and comfy, however as you wear the dress the top stretches out and loosens and won't stay up. I love how comfortable the dress is, it just needs a bit of reinforcement on the top to keep it up.

I love the black and white pattern of this dress, it's very eye catching. I'm glad I read reviews suggesting I order a size up, which I did and it fits great. The material is thin, like a stretchy jersey material, so if you're looking for something with structure this isn't that dress. Other than that, this is a very cute, casual dress (or skirt) and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

I was really excited to get this dress/skirt and bought it with the intention of using it as a dress. I did A LOT of looking around on Amazon and read A LOT of reviews and decided I liked this one best. I took everyone's advice and ordered two sizes up expecting it to be a little large in the bust and really flowy. I got it in today and immediately tried it on.Likes - The fabric is nice and soft, a little thin, but perfect for Louisiana weather even getting close to the "colder" months. As a skirt it has the perfect flow and length. I am 5'3" and the length was perfect as a dress and skirt.Dislike - The bust area is loose as expected but the bottom is clingy around my mid area. I don't have a large stomach but being a bigger girl my stomach does poke out a little which is why I went up TWO sizes for the extra flowyness. If you have a flatter stomach this shouldn't be a problem.Keep in mind that there are four seams that run down the dress, one on each side and one in the front and back. They throw off the lines to the point where black runs into white which isn't TERRIBLE looking but I was expecting it to have more of a cleaner look. This is very noticeable when worn as a dress but not AS noticeable when worn as a skirt.All in all I gave this three stars due to the sizing being a little off and can't wear it as I originally intended. I will be keeping this dress/skirt and using it as a skirt because it is still super cute and comfortable. I'll just have to do some more crunches to be able to enjoy it as a dress! :)

I am a size medium woman and ordered this dress knowing it would probably be a little big. BUT it was so cute I figured I'd at least try it on and it fit! So I would say it runs smaller than a 1X. It was a little loose as a dress. As a skirt it was perfect. I highly recommend this dress if you are looking for something cute & comfy to wear!

I am 5'9" and wear a 16 in a dress and I purchased a 3XL, I definitely could have gone down a size for sure BUT am GLAD I did NOT. I have to take in the top a bit, I am a 40D and the top is big but the flowing part of the bottom makes the larger size worth it. I would go up a size again and take in the top just to keep the skirt flowing on purpose, it also takes away from flaws...such as a belly and larger hips/buttocks. I also love that the stripes are in a v-formation, thought they don't match up all the way the amount that they don't it doesn't take away from the dress at all. The dress is also a perfect length for a summer dress but can also made to look a little 'classier' by adding a cute little black or I added a brightly colored, orange, sweater to it and some earrings and necklace. I would definitely have given it 5-stars but the material at the top is a little thin and I am worried that it will fade to a lighter black than that of the 'skirts' material/black. It's pretty hard to find really cute dresses for bigger girls that are comfortable and make me feel cute and sexy but this one definitely did it, for all you 'big' girls I say go for it!!

I read the other reviews and ordered a size up. Thanks Ladies, it fit perfectly. Good quality fit and feel. I'm going to see how it works with a strapless bra as I'm worried about it slipping after several hours on. May add a little silk ribbon strap on each side? But its a cutie, taking it to Mexico with me.
