Lovely Luxury
This is a lovely bag with a classic look. While subtle, it's also quite striking - definitely a bag that people will notice.I chose the Merlot color, which is rich yet subtle enough to go with any outfit.Ample space inside and large enough to carry my Kindle HD10 with no problem.Simply luxurious.

Only trouble was leathers didn’t match
I love this style purse, however I returned it because the white leather that holds the straps down was not white like the rest of the purse and looked odd. It had like a pink hue to it. Really sad as I loved the purse other than that.

Nice Purse but Stiff
This is a really nice purse with a nice leather feel. The gray is a gun metal gray and very good for spring or fall. 2 side pockets flank an inside zippered pocket. Zippers are really sturdy and there are feet on the bottom that prevent it The leather is stiff however and fitting your phone into the back pocket is difficult (so is getting it back out!!) I wouldn't carry a laptop in this bag but I do take my iPad mini (with case). I think it's heavy when empty so if you like a lighter bag, give this a pass. I do like the handles and I find myself using it when it's more formal and I don't have to carry it for long.

Love Radley, Don't Love This
This is a great company, but I don't review companies. I review specific product offerings, not even lines of products, but only one specific product from each line, and it's important to say that this company usually does a better job. That said, on with the review. I must be very clear, for anyone who doesn't feel like reading all this, that my overall impression is that this bag looks great on a shelf, but gets worse with every day of use and is not a practical bag for anyone seeking a bag of this size, because it has too many flaws.Firstly, this has a fairly average size for a "satchel" style bag, but the central zipper portion is actually very small, very narrow, and holds very little. The outer/open-top pockets were photographed in such a way as to make them look like what we are all accustomed to, sort of thin side pockets to slip receipts and hygiene products into on a temporary basis, until we get home. Sadly, these pockets are actually very stiff and rather wide, taking up a combined width of just over half the bag I received. They are designed to hold something like a small laptop, which no one would carry in an open-top pocket, because it would get stolen. Because the material is so stiff and these pockets are so wide, you lose half of the usable space in the purse just from this design flaw alone. Truly, for the same usable space, you could carry a purse half this width, because the outer pockets are fully open and so stiff that things actually fall out, unless you really wedge them down into the bottom of the pockets.Secondly, this leather is real leather, but doesn't look real. I can detect a fake easily and I did inspect this very carefully, so it is genuine leather, but it's finished to look like a Kate Spade Vegan bag, not like a leather bag. Why would anyone pay leather prices for a genuine leather purse that looks fake? This bag looks like a very high class faux leather, truly high class but also fake, and I simply can't understand that. The leather has been finished to a plastic look and feel, not patent but simply plastic, like it's coated with vinyl. The finish of the leather makes this very stiff, very hard, and rather difficult to use, as to reaching into the purse to get things out, because it's so very stiff. Also, the stiffness makes it unpleasant to handle. I have soft patent, hard patent, soft lamb leather, hard treated cow leather, all kinds of handbags, and this most accurately compares in feel to a cheap plastic-coated faux leather purse labeled PU leather. Again, why? This is a great brand and I'm confused about this.Thirdly, the zipper is good, actually quite good, but it only covers the very thin/narrow central portion of the bag, leaving more than half of the purse's space divided between the two side pockets, which are open-top and exposed for theft of whatever you put in there, so this begs the question, why bother putting any zipper at all. If a person needs a zipper, they probably don't wan their tech getting stolen, so why not protect the whole bag, but if they don't need a zipper, why use a central zipper and have these very wide open pockets when you could make an open center that would be easier to reach into? The central zipper doesn't actually open enough to make it easy to get things in and out of the entire center space. My hands are small for a woman of my size, 5'6" and 150 pounds. I am actually teased for my tiny skinny hands, yet this bag bothered me, as to reaching in and out of that central space because the zipper didn't open as well, as far, and the bag is so stiff that it feels like I'm forcing it open.Fourthly, there are teeny tiny little feet on this, very flat and close to the surface compared to every other name brand I own. My Italian leather bags all have nice thick gold feet, well over 5mm tall, usually about 6mm but at least 4mm, and these are too thin to measure without risking damaging the leather to give you a measurement. They look, at a glance, to be about 2mm to 2.5mm on the bag I received. These won't protect the bottom of the bag from scratching. They are too thin to protect the bag unless it is set on a perfectly flat and clean surface. Again, why?Fifthly, the bag I received is not the color shown. In the advertising photos, it looks like a very light bag, named "Ocean", and in viewing photos here at Amazon I have noted that they are nearly always spot on as to color, including from this brand that I actually love. But what I received is actually a dark turquoise. Consequently, the open-suede surface on the interior of each of those very stiff and wide open-top side pockets is a dark turquoise, truly dark, and it off-stains, such that you can't stick a scarf or pair of light gloves in there. That would be expected for black or dark red, which is why I chose the very light blue colorway in the first place, but no one would ever expect this from the very light ocean-blue they showed in the photos. Off-staining is simply not expected from light sea-blue, so there is an issue not only with the color not matching the advertising photos but also the dye not setting properly, such that off-staining occurred. (Full disclosure, I have a set of cheap test gloves in white cotton and this stained those, so nothing was ruined that I wasn't willing to risk during testing.)Overall, this is not what I expect from this brand or from any higher end name brand. This bag is impractical and difficult to use. If you carry nothing but a cellphone, a tiny little hygiene and makeup bag, and a thin wallet, then this will work for you as a show piece, but if you need a purse that actually functions for carrying the random items you may find yourself needing to carry, this is useless. I made it less than a week before going back to a Betsey Johnson, since it's been the rainy season here and that vegan leather is something I don't have to worry about. And that brings me to my final point, the suede lining in those open-top pockets. The suede is beautiful and would be wonderful, if it were inside a purse, but it is a huge problem when it is exposed to the elements. If it rains, that suede will get water spots. If you hold an ice water or ice tea over your bag, while speaking, and condensation drops down, just one drop, you get a big old water spot on that uncovered suede. This bag is not designed to be used. It's designed to look pretty on your shelf.Hard pass on this. This is the first bad bag I've ever seen from this brand, a brand I love, and I have to say pass. They get two stars for using real leather, but everything else is bad on this one. Beautiful suede liners belong inside, under a zipper, safely away from rain drops and condensation, and stiff open pockets prevent use of the central space, which is hard to use because the zipper doesn't open far enough on such a stiff bag, and the color is not as advertised and there is off-staining and it looks fake even though it's real. Hard pass. Good luck in your search and I do still recommend Radley London for other bags, including other's I've bought over the years, just not this one.

Beautiful Purse
The purse matches the exact description, and comes with a dustbag! Beautiful leather and soft interior with a strap to convert to a crossbody bag. The only problem was the color. The bag we got was a very dark blue and the one in the picture showed a more royal blue compared to the dark indigo blue we received.
