Solid little knife

I love the knife!! Only issue is the belt clip is as big as the knife. I think a smaller clip would work

The knife is a little small. The dimensions in the ad are present and correct. I knew it would be smaller than most of my other knives but when I opened it I was a bit surprised at its size. I was also surprised at the quality. This thing is well made! The fit and finish is on par with some of my more expensive knives. I really like the stonewashed finish on the blade. The spine has a serrated thumb rest. The grinds are very symmetrical and have a sharpening choil. The blade is very sharp and seems to hold an edge well. The G10 handle scales are checkered and provide excellent grip. The Kydex sheath is just as well made as the knife. Most times on a budget friendly knife the sheath is lacking. This one is not. Holds the knife firmly let allows easy removal. Is multi positional to allow for right or left side as well as vertical or horizontal carry. If the handle on this knife were an inch to an inch and a half longer this would be a great knife for me. My personal preference for a sheath knife is just a little longer (at least the handle). The picture I included shows it beside my Victoriknox Tinker that is my edc pocket knife for size comparison. I really like the knife overall and do have a use for it. I have a grandchild that will be of age to learn knife safety and have their own knife. I will be proud to present this to them when the time is right.

I love this little beast it is small and perfect for concealed carry and it has a good feel too it , SOLID is probably the perfect word for this little beast ,I love it !!!

Misleading pictures and the one I ordered was shipped was out of sheath

Attention to detail of this knife and sheath combo is fantastic. The sheath holds the knife in place with no rattling. There is a very nice place to press against with your thumb while drawing the knife. The belt clip that came on the sheath is easy to use and fully adjustable for different carry positions and belt sizes. This setup could be worn as a neck knife with %100 confidence. Rock solid sheath. I wish other manufacturers would put this much effort into their sheaths. I usually have to buy custom to get this quality.The knife is very small but offers a very good grip. Large contour with very good jimping on the back of the blade is perfect for the thumb of my size large hand. It feels like I could do some larger tasks with this knife. Decent three finger grip + thumb =4. Could also do some very fine detail work. Nice little recurve on the edge helps to easily cut rope and cord. A few steops across some leather and mine was hair popping sharp right out of the box. I would love to have this setup in about a 7-1/4" size as well. Can't wait to dig out a splinter with this thing!Seems to have good edge retention and I'll give an update after more cutting tasks.

I basically removed the grips and built a handle for it. Even my wife’s hand is too big for practical use price point is good . It’s very well built but it’s not practical carry

This little blade is exactly what I was looking for. It is a small and durable knife that usually attaches to a belt or could be hung around the neck and be ready for every day use. I currently attached to my belt every single day and use at work to open boxes and cut rope. Out of the box the knife is sharp enough to do both with ease. After a couple weeks of usage I’ve had to re-hone the blade to keep the sharpness intact. My favorite part of the blade is the Kydex sheath that the knife clicks into and stays in forever until you want to come out. I love the hold, that the kind that she has on it as it ensures that the ninth or not fall out on its own whim.Overall, I’m very happy with this little knife. It has made my job a lot easier and is of sturdy construction that I think it can take a lot more beating and hold up just fine. I’m gonna take it up camping here in a couple weeks and test it with carving, and Other camping tasks. I think it’s going to hold up just fine. I definitely recommend this name to anyone who’s looking for a every day carry a knife that they can wear on the belt or on the neck. This little knife won’t disappoint. It’s comfortable to hold and use and the green handle looks great.

For me, the YF Smart knife's compact size of 2.4" blade length makes it perfect for everyday cutting chores ranging from paring an apple in the kitchen to making feather sticks in the bush. The blade material is D2 steel and is full tang. D2 is a tough tool steel that is known for its corrosion resistance and its ability to hold an edge well. It requires no special care except for the usual wiping dry after use, and the occasional sharpening. Because of these practical qualities, I actually prefer D2 over all other steels for knife blades.The knife has a high overall level of finish. The blade's stonewash gives it a tacticool look but really, it is just a well designed knife that I expect will serve me (and perhaps you) well in a EDC capacity for a long time. I also appreciate the handle being made from textured G-10, a fibreglass laminate, which offers a good gripping surface (important due to the knife's compact size).The shealth is a real bonus. Its design offers numerous mounting options. I can mount it horizontally on my belt or vertically on my backpack harness. Once the blade is inserted, the sheath holds it confidently in place; and with the aid of a thumb push, the knife comes out easily.In summary, this knife ticks all the right boxes in terms of sheer practicality and value for me. I originally bought one and am now currently in the process of ordering another one.

I have used a good number of fixed blade knives over the years and I'm also familiar with D2 Tool steel. This knife is clearly D2 Tool cuz it holds a very sharp edge even after whittling a stick and numerous small cutting tasks. It comes very sharp, I would not sharpen it brand new. It's tiny but perfect for that little discreet tool for whenever you need a box opener or to cut a cucumber or cut a rope. The snap in/out sheath is absolutely perfect. Very high quality. Holds knife very strongly, must tug with a lot of effort to take the knife out, which is exactly what we need. Even after many times. Love this knife!!!

Nice knife, could be just slightly larger and it would be perfect. Sheath locks firmly, release button for belt should be on the side to avoid involuntary releases, it pops open on me due to clothing etc.

Exactly what I was looking for. Very good quality and well made real g10 scales, Not plastic. Case looks good knife fits well in it and does not move around in the case case also very well made design and very practical. The whole design was very well thought out. Very happy over all!!! I have no clue what any of these negative reviews are about on here either, Will definitely buy again.Back Sept 18 grabbed another. I'm not sure if this is a "clone"of the "Hummingbird " by knight but it's still very good quality and a terrific deal.
