Comfy stylish chair, let down by leaky gas cylinder!
As someone who sits at a desk for hours a day, I thought I'd invest in a good quality chair to ensure I was not only comfortable, but reduce the risk of developing horrible aches! This chair fits the bill rather well, with its thick padded seat and fairly high wide back which is curved to effectively support your back and stop you from slouching. The back is made from a mesh type material, which not only allows for good ventilation, especially on hot days (as opposed to leather seats which can become rather sweltery!) but also allows for some give adding to the overall comfort of the chair. This tied in with the fact that the chair can "rock" backwards (that is if you lean back, the mechanism allows the back to tilt slightly meaning you can in essence rock back and forth slightly) gives a rather comfortable experience; I can sit at this desk throughout the entirety of the working day and not feel uncomfortable. This feature can however be locked off if preferred. The seat is also quite stylish, with the coloured back making the chair look rather more fashionable than many other seats out there which are bland and grey. However there are a few bad points with this item, the main being the fact that the air cylinder (which allows you to adjust the height of the seat) has developed a small leak, shortly after purchase, meaning that occasionally the seat slowly lowers itself which is rather frustrating, especially when I'm trying to work. This is a real shame, as otherwise I'd happily give this product four, or even five stars. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be an isolated issue either, with other reviewers complaining of the same problem. The product is also a tad on the expensive side, especially as the amount of adjustment you can do is limited to simply the height of the seat - various other parameters such as back height and angle cannot be altered.Despite this however, the chair is comfortable, stylish and a relatively good product; just be warned that you may have to spend time and money on buying a replacement gas cylinder if you are unfortunate enough to have a leaky one (although replacements are only around £7 should this happen).Pros:# Stylish design with coloured back# Thick padding on seat with rocking back results in a very comfy chair# Meshed back allows for good ventilationCons:# Limited adjustment (no back height and angle adjustment)# Gas cylinder prone to leaking causing chair to sink.# Not very good value for money.

This chair is good for the price paid
This chair is good for the price paid. However I would not recommend it if you are work from home and need to be sat in it most of the day because you will get a numb bottom after a few hours and I am finding that by the end of the day its not very comfortable. That said its a nicely designed chair that was straightforward to assemble and its compact so good for a small space. The back support is also not bad for a few hours but not all day as I have a sore back and by the end of the day its aching. However if you do not need to use it all day then I think that is comfortable and space saving design that looks contemporary and fit for purpose.

Great chair, good price and quality.
I bought this a chair a good while ago now -- over a year maybe. And it's great.I'm a student that needs to sit a lot and read mind destroying academic journals day after day. I also PC game, and I sit in my room and play guitar a lot; so I'm never out the chair really.I researched a little about chairs before buying it, and the prices can really get ridiculous. I wanted back support and a sensible looking chair that wasn't styled as race car bucket seat. The chair delivered. The chair is solid, and it's got a real bit of weight to it to tell you that. I only weight 12 stone (168 lbs) so I can't say much about its weight tolerances, other than my weight can't budge it at all.The cushioned seat is a kind of woven mesh, so it's porous and you'll need to hoover it out once in a while.I think I had to tighten an arm once, but I hadn't tightened it properly when I built it, so that's my error. I removed the right arm to play a guitar in it anyway, but the left arm has never budged. You need to build it, and it takes around 5-10 minutes. It really is heavier than it looks too, so keep that in mind.

Great desk chair - one very happy owner!
Great chair! I use it at home at my workspace, and it is very comfy and easily adjustable for height. It is made of quality materials and was quick to assemble; I'm sure it will last me for years to come. I've had it 12 months now and still delighted with it. The design of the back means it is a little bit awkward to dust but this is a very minor issue indeed, and I would buy this again and recommend to home users who want to be comfy for a few hours at the PC.

Poor arm rest..
It's been more than a year since I bought..it is sturdy but it is not cushioned well so the comfortless wise is a turn down and mainly armrest which is hard like a stone. So cannot rest my hand for a while and start experienciing pains on hand elbows while working on computer .and i always keep some cloths/towels over it..

First impressions good but still getting used to it
Replaced a collapsing chair that had many years service with comfort. First impressions good but still getting used to it. Appears to be well constructed and relatively easy to assemble but some people may find affixing arms and back awkward if they do not think the process through carefully and use the packaging box as workbench and support to aid assembly.

You get what you pay for.
The chair was bought as a basic child desk chair. I knew £50 wasn't a lot for an office chair so I didn't expect a lot but the product is that bad it's simply not fit for purpose. The gas cylinder has already began failing and it has only had a child's weight to bear. Very poor given the chair is only a matter of a few weeks old. Upon delivery, I feared parts would be missing as there was a significant hole in the bottom of the cardboard box, fortunately there wasn't. Upon putting the chair together I found that two of the pre-drilled holes were badly aligned which caused one of the bolt threads to nearly shear.I do not recommend buying this product.I would honestly spend a bit more and go elsewhere.

Very nice chair and feels really sturdy when sat down
Very nice chair and feels really sturdy when sat down, the back support is good so fare and seems like the chair will last. Fairly straight forward to put together 10-15 minutes at the most, overall very happy with the chair and i would recommend to anyone who is after a comfy medium back mesh office chair.
