Absolutely love it!
Pros: Beautiful Look: The design is beautiful, with vibrant colors that shine. Value: Great value for the money. Inspiration: I am new to this and found it very inspiring—so many ideas! Usage: Simple to use if you stick to big designs. Cons & Adjustments: Chipping: It chips easily if you use scissors (which is what I did). Detail Work: Difficult to do small, detailed cut-outs. Recommendation: Use a cutting blade instead of scissors; it probably won't chip as much. Note: I skipped the provided tape and used resin to seal it instead.

Easy to use inlay material.
Beautiful stuff. First time trying to do inlays and this was great. VERY fragile without the backing. EASY to cut and handle with it. I used a utility knife/ razor blade and scissors to trim. I was able to cut very thin slices off the edge with scissors. Great product.

Too thin
Almost paper thin. I bought this to make guitar neck inlays. I returned the item

Beautiful item hard to cut
This is an absolutely amazing item and looks beautiful in resin artwork. Problem is cutting it to have straight lines without chipping or breaking. Will order again in the future.

So beautiful
I used this to do a wood inlay and it came out beautiful! It is a little tricky to cut, it tends to want to chip or splinter no matter the method I use even if I use tape on top though. Just have to go super slow and allow for extra pieces to be cut just in case.

More “Ablam” Than Abalone, But It’ll Do
“This is definitely on the thin side — closer to ablam veneer than solid abalone shell. Don’t expect chunky depth or heavy iridescence. That said, it does work in a pinch. Cuts easily, lays flat, and once glued and finished, it adds a nice flash where you need it. If you’re doing high-end inlay work, you’ll probably want something thicker. But for small accents, touch-ups, or budget-conscious projects, it gets the job done. Not fancy, but functional.” — Praying to the car gods

Amazing!
I'm amazed at the gorgeous color and quality of this veneer! It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I plan to use it (plus copper leaf guilding) to freshen up my old cell phone case.
