Slender, sexy, minimalist, and great value for money.
I have two of these connected to a laptop docking-station. There were no problems with setting them up, they function as you would expect any modern monitor to function.I've rated 5 stars for the following reasons:- They look beautiful, the design is elegant and minimalist. I love how the screen extends almost to the edge of the monitor, it works very well for a dual-monitor setup. The stands are unique shape and compliment the sleek design whilst adding an interesting, and yet subtle, aesthetic charm.- The take up minimal space due to being so thin, and the stand requires very little room due to its design.- The picture quality/colour saturation is decent. I have a 4k screen on my laptop but prefer to work on monitors, obviously these aren't as crisp as the 4k screen, but they are still good and more than sufficient.I am used to 4k but have barely noticed the difference. I am keeping the price in mind here, naturally the colours/picture could be improved, but that's why you can spend £1000's on a monitor if you really want. You get what you pay for, and this monitor is fit for purpose for most home-use.- Fantastic value for money, the size/aesthetics/picture quality warrants a higher price in my opinion. There are no real 'cons' to speak of, it's merely a sexy monitor than functions as you would expect, no drama, no problems, and you will struggle to find something better in this price-range.

Buy this!
Bought this after much deliberating and very glad I chose this. Looks beautiful, very slim bezels and profile, and the display is sharp with a good viewing angle. Using this as an entertainment/media display rather than for work or browsing, so can't comment on that, but this is a top quality monitor at an affordable price.

Stuck pixel but great viewing angles, matte finish, good resolution/aspect ratio for average user.
The monitor came packaged neatly in a cardboard box with polystyrene to protect it during transit. Mine came with a European plug despite me living in the UK, so I had to supply my own UK figure-8 lead, which is no big deal given how many appliances use them. It also came with the resistor which the figure-8 plugs into and this then plugs into the rear of the monitor to provide power, as well as an HDMI male-to-male lead and a VGA female-to-male lead. The monitor itself is very minimalist and clean. It stands on a somewhat strangely designed base but it is very sturdy and made out of metal, so no qualms there. The matte finish of the screen is great for negating glare where sunlight or other lights are involved, and the buttons on the underside make it easy for the user to change things like brightness or turn the monitor on and off. It also very thin (about 1cm deep) and light, so mine sits comfortably on top of a keyboard tidy, as you can see from my pictures.I'd say the resolution and aspect ratio are ideal for the average user, someone who just wants to browse the web, watch videos, use a word processor and maybe do some casual gaming. The IPS feature means the viewing angles are spectacular, so this will feel like a big step up if you're used to using a laptop. The bezels are lovely and thin, however they feel a bit cheap and are bulging away from the screen in places. I am unsure whether this occurred during transit or whether it left the factory like this, as I noticed it right out of the box.The only thing that stops me giving this product 5 stars is that I have a stuck pixel less than two months after purchasing it. I would rate it 5 stars if the seller replaced the monitor for me. Overall, if you need a relatively cheap monitor that you can enjoy full HD on (beware of "HD ready" products) then I would recommend this one. I bought it on sale for around £100.

Easy set-up/ sharp screen
I bought this screen for working from home and its brilliant for the price. Its a great wide angled screen, perfect for those using Excel on a daily basis. Aesthetically, its very pleasing, sleek and takes ups minimal space.

Nice monitor. Correct uk plug.
I hestiated ordering this because of other reviews mentioning the wrong plug being included. I went ahead, deciding I'd just get a euro to uk adapter if that happened. The monitor came with the correct uk plug lead though. All in all very happy so far. The picture quality is very good. You have to adjust the brightness a bit but it's a quality monitor and looks great.

Best in its price range
Really pleased with this . Great set up and a bonus software disk bringing all the menu (screen driven) and split screen controls to life. Great picture and with colour boost on its wow . Mainly using for web design and music creation . Played a few games but not into hi res FPS worries . For me this is perfect

AOC monitor is very poor, can see gaps between pixels, low brightness and refresh.
Although the specs say this is an IPS monitor, with great picture quality etc I am very very disappointed with the AOC screen.Although delivered promptly, the AOC monitor has a poor resolution, you can see the gaps between the pixels (like other customers have commented) and it is no where near as good as my 4 year old Acer monitor. Screen brightness is very poor indeed.Have used it on Mac and Windows10, on two different computers and the brightness is poor.I use Lightroom and Photoshop and the AOC monitor is no good for photographic work at all in my thinking, probably okay for general office duties but image quality also is poor.Avoid.
