Great for VR! Tested Assetto Corsa, Project Cars 2, Half Life Alyx, Kayak VR Mirage
I upgraded from GeForce GTX 1650 Super that came with the 2021 HP Gaming Desktop PC(AMD6 core Ryzen 5 3500 processor). I have upgraded this PC from 8GB Ram to 16GB Ram. GTX 1650 ran fine for Assetto corsa but PC2 2 was pretty rough. When I tried Half Life Alyx and Kayak VR Mirage, I realized it was not going to work at all. I am on day one with this RX7600 but so far Assetto Corsa and PC2 is running perfectly at the highest settings. Half Life Alyx and Kayak VR works great on the highest settings but I have noticed a few stuttering on Kayak VR. I have only spent around 15 minutes on the Half Life and Kayak VR so I will update if there are any changes with more time into it. Due to the limited space of the HP PC case, this was a great price and value. I was able to install it very easily with a 10 minute youtube video. All games are loading so much quicker and the graphics look so much better with this GPU being able to handle the higher settings!

Great card at a low price, works perfectly with Fedora 39
OK, it's not the flagship 7900xtx. I'm getting a glmark2 score of 22552, which while decent, is less than half that of the 7900xtx. But it is around 1/4 the price, 1/2 the power, and 2/3 the size. It runs perfectly with Fedora 39. It runs my steam games with decent frame rates and resolutions. I have had zero problems with games or benchmarks. It runs quiet and cool: idle: fan 0 rpm, temp 40C, power 1W. glmark2: fan 2100 rpm, temp 73C, power 130W. At max fan, it is still amazingly quiet. Installation into my existing Fedora 39 Ryzen 9 7950 tower with integrated graphics was trivial - I just plugged it into an open slot, moved the monitor (DP) cable from the motherboard to the card, and rebooted, and everything worked. One caution - I did try enabling hybrid graphics mode in the motherboard BIOS (to use both the integrated and discrete graphics), but that did not work well, so I went back to the BIOS default of "disabled", which uses just the discrete card. Summary: I really like this card - it's low cost, cool, quiet, and small, but with decent performance, and it works perfectly with Fedora.

Make sure you update the drivers
I thought the card was a good price for the card. I put it into the system and yeah, it was fast. But it was also crashing the system. I ended up getting a better case with six fans. That helped a bit, but still fairly high temps. I upgraded the fans. That helped, but was still getting max temps in the 80s and that was with throttling the gpu a bit. And would occasionally crash. Then I updated the drivers. now my max gpu temp is in the upper 70s with 60% fan speed. No crashes and running at max. So great, I should have updated the drivers to start with. The card has been running great since.

Perfect for Linux Display with 3 DisplayPorts
Great card for display on Linux with 3 DisplayPort ports. I'm using it with Wayland and it's the smoothest Linux desktop experience I've ever had.

It’s 2025 and I still like this.
Hear me out. This is not the best GPU for high res, high FPS gaming. Bit of that’s not what you want it for, it’s good value. For emulator gaming, indie gaming, older games, really most games at 1080p or even 1440p/60, and CAD and design apps that don’t need the computing power of a AAA game at 4k, you have a solid performer. The drivers are well worked out and stable in Windows and Linux. The card is pretty small and doesn’t use a lot of power. If you want to build a smaller pc, reduce fan noise, or just use less electricity, it’s great. The only reason I don’t give it a full 5 stars is that the 9060xt 8gb is better, and not much more expensive right now.

Nic!
It was easy to install, it has been a good thing for my computer, and a well deserved upgrade

Constant Crashing
I bought this card early in the year, was replacing a 3050 (not the greatest upgrade but was what I could afford at the time) I was having super frequent crashes due to drivers conflicting, as of this point it had already been 30 days so no refund or replacement. I fixed the driver issue by essentially ripping the nvidia software off my computer and then after resetting windows to make sure it wasn’t that. I’ve proceeded to use it for the past 3-4 months and it runs any benchmark for hours and hours, but will not run any game for an hour consistently. I’ve tried to give this card a chance but it’s clear I don’t have a stable gpu. P.S. I assume I just got unlucky, so I don’t think this should convince anyone not to buy this, but just to at least make sure you have a good part within a month.

good for a beginner gpu !
Hello, I just built my first ever gaming pc and this is the GPU I decided to go with. I don’t know much about the fancy specs that go into what makes a GPU a good one or a bad one BUT what I do know, this GPU gets the job done for the price you pay!!! I play very standard games, my favorite is the sims 4 and my graphic card works perfectly and the graphics quality is great, I play with the highest graphics options with no lag !!! I do play apex legends on my new pc and again GREAT graphics quality, no lag, and the game looked all around beautiful and clear (if that makes sense). One thing I did notice is that, it does tend to get hot enough that I can feel warm ( but not hot) air coming from my pc when it’s being overworked, on IDLE my GPU typically sits between 25-30C. (I also would like to add, I have done no overclocking whatsoever on my pc) Apparently, your GPU getting hot is normal. If you’re someone who likes and/or wants to do HEAVY gaming, this GPU could work but you probably want to go with a GPU with a stronger cooling system or consider investing in a GPU cooler. I do plan on upgrading my GPU within the next year but for my first pc, this GPU works like a charm (so far) <3

Considering what NVIDIA is doing with 4060 Ti and mid-to-budget line up cards, this is not exactly bad product. Unless you definitely need an NVIDIA GPU for specific purpose, i.e. CUDA application, DLSS3, although not every game in the market provides this, application, this card can serve 1080p driver for at least 2-3 years until next generation of GPUs rolls out. The video memory, 8 GB, is on 'low' side these days. But plenty for non-state-of-art AAA games with Ultra settings at 1080p 60-75 Hz refresh rate, also budget, monitors. Moreover, as seen in the picture, Linux Kernel 6.2 or above detects this card without any problem (NO driver installation needed! Everything is already included!) and even runs some benchmarks. GLMark2 score is attached but be mindful that i was running some other tasks, i.e. YouTube video, Firefox surfing while hardware acceleration enabled. So, that score cannot be optimal result. Yet, good enough for my purpose since I may not run any newest AAA games on this machine but some indy titles and Steam Deck compatible (games work well with Proton) games since this desktop is running Linux. I would leave out reviews for Windows users to a Windows user. As long as AMD screws up graphics driver once more, it will mostly be fine for Windows side as well. There is a strange small switch located close to the GPU's PCI-E power connector. There is NO explanation on this switch in the product package either. (Update from the manufacturer's feedback): The switch is merely a back-up bios. So, if you somehow screw up the GPU bios, you can just switch it to other position to use default stock bios. It was just a safety feature. Another thing to note is that the GPU temperature will hit 60C even if it is idle. But this is normal according to XFX since the fan will only turn either GPU usage increases or the GPU temperature exceeds 60C. At the moment, ROCm version is too new and docker image's tensorflow can't find this GPU as an agent. We'll have to wait for some time.
