Jaehyun & Raphael
It’s been a while since 2 characters have moved me like this. Raphael became quietly obsessed with Jaehyun. So much so that he let it consume him. Eventually his obsession became his reality. Jaehyun’s world was very different from Raphael’s. And he was so scared to let Raphael in. But I’m so glad he did. They had so many hurdles to overcome together. I can’t get them and their story out of my head!! I need more.

It was a captivating and unique MM romance story that brings together two worlds - rockstar and K-pop - in a sizzling and heartwarming tale of love, fame, and self-discovery.The story follows the lives of two stars: Raphael Scott, an American rock star, and Lee Jaehyun, a K-pop idol. Both are at the pinnacle of their careers. When fate brings them together, their chemistry is undeniable.Drake's writing is evocative, and the pacing of the story is spot on, with a good balance of drama, romance, and spice! The plot is engaging, filled with unexpected twists and turns that kept me hooked until the very end.

This is a prime example of why one should never judge a book by it's cover.
Hamartia is a Rockstar/K-pop idol romance. This is a prime example of why one should never judge a book by it's cover. I'd seen this book with the model/album style cover doing the rounds. And I said to myself 'that's not my vibe'. I then read it was about a k-pop idol and while I love and appreciate all kinds of music that's not my jam. Then I saw the illustrated cover by my illustrator fave Tal and my interest was piqued. This is not the first time I've read a book based on her cover art either. And I have no regrets. If you're on the fence because the music genre isn't your jam, I'm here to tell you it's worth the read!Raphael is the singer of Dead Poets an American rock band and a chance meeting in a bathroom sends his world of axis. Lee Jaehyun is a K-pop idol and star of every filthy fantasy Raphael has until they collide again. This book has everything I love about romance. The beautiful blend of opposites attract, where they truly couldn't be more different in not only their careers but their lives as well. I really enjoyed how both of the characters were written. While Raphael is a rockstar he didn't fall into that cliche vibe that happens so often. There was depth and character to him. And Jae, he is absolutely adorable. That kinda cute you want to put in your pocket and protect at all costs. I genuinely loved their story, every chaotic and messy moment was so worth it!
