BORAII Eagle Pocket Holster for Ruger LCP 2 / LCP II

Perfect minimalist trigger guard which makes a minimal bulge in the pocket. Easy to disengage with a simple flick downward of the middle finger, and the thumb and 1st finger aligning the pistol(I added some tape and a little padding around the Boraii at that point where the middle finger pushes against it to free it from the trigger guard). As the holster becomes disengaged from the trigger guard the thumb and fingers begin to grip the gun with the trigger finger straight along side the gun frame and not on the trigger. As the gun is withdrawn the fingers naturally grip the pistol in a smooth motion. A little practice and it is just as fast as a regular pocket holster and not as bulky.

I wasn't quite sure about this holster when I ordered it. As suspected, lint can get into the barrel and I blow that out about once a week. The part that I love is that I can clear the weapon and/or load the weapon while the holster is safely in place. You can't pull a trigger that's covered. An unadvertised function is that you can tie a cord between the holster and something else, like a belt loop or a purse strap, and it can be used as a breakaway trigger guard. I like it so much I bought one for my Glock too.

A great minimalist holster. The LCPII is supplied with a soft shell holster, which is pretty sub-par. I found it impossible to get a proper grip on the little LCPII when drawing it from the Ruger-provided soft holster. The BORAII, on the other hand, gives your fingers enough room to properly grasp the grip and present the firearm without having to re-adjust your grip. The only reason I didn't give the Eagle holster five stars was because it's flat instead of curved to the right/left. But, for the price, this is a sweet little pocket rig.

I purchased this because I had previously purchased one for a Taurus TCP. It fit perfectly and worked great.I purchased this one for my new LCP MAX. It fits great and is very secure. 5 stars, would buy again.

I really wanted to like this, but I had one too many situations where I’d remove my firearm from my pocket and the hostler was coming off and exposing the trigger. To the maker of this product, this is an ok start, but I’d recommend the kydex go over the top of the firearm to ensure safety.

Perfect fit, great for carry in basketball shorts etc. also fits the LCP MAX

Best option imo for pocket carry. Can lose position on loose pockets but still works great.

Pretty cool but I find the gun can get turned in pocket so went back to factory supplied pocket holster.
